George Floyd and the Liberal Lynch Mob

It started with Floyd's counterfeiting, theft, and public intoxication. It looks like to me that police did everything by the book, including the knee to the neck after Floyd twice resisted arrest (once after he was in handcuffs). Any cop in any part of the country will attempt to physically restrain you if you resist arrest (just usually not with a knee, but with the cop's own weight if you're big).

We have to wait for the full autopsy results to know how he died, but it wasn't the knee on the neck. A police affidavit offers that he died of a combination of intoxication, underlying health issues, and from being restrained (but, not the knee on the neck). The restraint contributing to his death doesn't make the restraint unlawful. It's an unfortunate trifecta of stress upon his body, but he forced the hand of the police.

The media spreading lies about the details only inflames people's fear of the police and rioting. Yes, Floyd would still be alive if not for the encounter with the police, but Floyd wasn't murdered. No jury is going to convict the cop of murder. And, after the acquittal, we'll hear nonsense about how the justice system is rigged in favor of cops as more riots flair up across the country.

Do you know who Tony Timpa is? Google his name if you don't know, and you'll figure out why you don't know his name but you know Floyd's name.
yes I agree lies and fiction making are very common in the media. And other places too.

The policemen had 18 complaints of excessive violence against him. So this is not an isolated incident. All of the victims in the 18 complaints were black. Just do the math. He should have been fired before this happened. The fact that he wasn't fired is the problem

On this day, the cop was doing his job the way he was trained to do it. 18 Complaints? Why do you say the cop should have been fired instead of saying the (black) police chief should be fired for letting a cop run rogue, or for poorly training the officers?

Why is this procedure enacted on George legal. They could have detained him standing up. There were four of them

Combative suspects are pinned on the ground maybe hundreds of times every day across America without harm. A suspect on the ground is vastly more controllable than one standing. Cops are doing their job, and taking unnecessary risks is not part of their job. Why don't you say Floyd shouldn't have robbed the store nor resisted arrest?

Rogue cops. Just like rogue Catholic pedophile priests. Maybe there are similarities . A culture of turning a blind eye to colleague's bad behaviour. Solidarity no matter what.
People underestimate the power police unions have and how this limits the mayor and police chief's power and ability to weed out bad cops. Houston is a prime example of a mayor who thinks he's in control and a police chief who pretends he's in control. The real power lies with the police union's wormy corrupt union president. He has more power over the police than the other 2 combined.

I still dont think the cops can get a fair trial. Maybe a plea bargain? But then no punishment will be enough for a lot of people.

I agree that it's hard for people to get a fair trial when they're accused of racism. But, this is a slam dunk for the cops in court. All the racist lies flying around the media (and in this forum) don't get to fly around in the courtroom. The cops acted by the book. It's irresponsible and stupid for anyone to say the cop murdered Floyd.

Floyd committed a robbery. Floyd resisted arrest. The knee was part of the cop's training. The knee didn't kill Floyd.

It will be a racist lie when people claim the acquittal was because of a rigged system. All the suffering in this country from the riots is the fault of Floyd supporters. They will answer to God, both the rioters themselves and the people who incite riots with their racist lies.

When are blacks going to stop committing crimes? Blacks commit interracial crimes about 50 times as often as white individuals, and that's not counting the rioting. Interracial crimes by blacks are more aggravated in nature, like a rape and murder, rather than improper self-defense. Why does someone blame a cop for doing his job instead blaming of drunk, combative robber for being a burden on society?

Better a million people die by lies than one "offensive" truth be told in a Christian forum. Right, moderator?

"the cops acted by the book. it's stupid and irresponsible for anyone to suggest the cop murdered Floyd." (Tertful)
You and others will seriously assert this as fact. in this strange world we live in , one man's fact is another man's fiction. Still holding on to some thread of sanity, I will assert this is utter fiction. Whilst we shouldn't believe everything we see , we should believe a lot of what we see. I saw evidence from one camera. I heard there were several phone camera versions of the event. This will prove very useful evidence in court, one would think. Enough to persuade the most stubborn of jury members. I am confident the policeman who murdered Floyd will be found guilty of at least manslaughter. If not it will be a travesty of justice.

of course somebody got to Wikipedia first and made sure history will be written like this. imo it's fiction making to protect authorities but I have been wrong before.
Once ...in the summer of 69 ....

I verified the statement in Wikipedia. And, I quoted from USA Today in my post (not Wikipedia). The knee was part of his training and it's a currently approved technique in that city. And, the knee didn't kill Floyd. The cop committed no crime. Charging the cop with murder is purely an effort to appease the racist savages gnawing on the hand that feeds them.

The murder charge is a vast over-charge. But, a manslaughter charge won't stand up, either. This cop did everything right, as far as he could have been expected. And, the knee didn't kill Floyd. The Prosecution can play the sad video over and over in the courtroom, but the Defense will point out it is what the cop was trained to do and it didn't kill Floyd.

These Governors and Mayors are very liberal allowing this sinful behavior to continue by allowing these felonies of destruction of property and thefts continue in the U.S.A.. Vote them out!

The black lives matter African Americans who are protesting are hypocrites. The black life matters sign need to be posted on both sides of there signs so they can read it as they protest. Why? Because most blacks kill blacks!

As a current Federal Law Enforcement Officer for 31 years in Wash., DC, the level of force used was unlawful.

Look at the killing of a black man on tape by the police officers / the violence of protesters: the works of the flesh at work - Satan and his minions controlling people because the strength of sin is the law.

If a Christian will and their efforts to live for God is in anything except Christ and the Cross, i.e., Finished Work, The Blood of Jesus (Romans 8:2), Satan can override your will and force you to do things you don't want to do and trying not to do (Ephesians 6:12). Jesus said deny yourself and take up your cross daily, and follow Me (Luke 9:23).

Many Believers are living outside of the domain of the Holy Spirit. Out of the 10 Virgins (Saved), 5 stayed wise, and 5 became foolish (Matthew 25).

We all need to ask ourselves this question;
"Am I really interested in the truth? Or just forcing my version of the truth on others.
How willing am I to consider another person's point of view? When it is different to mine."

If our willpower was the answer, Jesus did not need to leave Heaven and be Crucified on the Cross Calvary where the victory was won. No man/woman can fix the flesh with the flesh (Zech. 4:6). We make laws believing that our works can please God.

When people leave the Cross and turn to other things, which millions are now doing, the Scripture says of them: "Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils" (1 Timothy 4:1).

Needless to say, such individuals, as with the lukewarm and as with those who have a form of godliness, are labeled by the Lord as unsaved, despite their claims, and will not go in the rapture nor enter the strait gate and narrow way that leads unto life.

Many are proclaiming Christ, but forsaking the Cross (lukewarm). This is also called "spiritual adultery (Rom. 7:1-4)."

If you leave the Cross, on your best day all you can do is try and patch up the situation. You can not fix it! Why? Because only the Cross deals with sins!

Bread Crumbs “Dealing with Sin”

The true gospel always deals with sin. It does not “sugarcoat” the truth. The gospel does not ignore sin, or call it by another name. Jesus did not come from heaven and give His life on a cruel cross so that we could pretend that sin did not matter. He gave His life that we might be free from both the penalty of sin and the dominion of sin. No believer is without sin, yet that does not mean we have to sin a little bit every day or be dominated by sin continuously. The grace of God gives us the power to face sin, take personal responsibility for our sin, and then overcome sin. All sin must be recognized, cleansed by the blood, and defeated through the processes of faith and grace. None of this is possible without the cross of Jesus Christ and the Christians’ faith placed securely in it. The good news in all this is that the gospel of Jesus Christ has the power to free us from every aspect of sin. So let us not ignore sin! Let us deal with it and live free from the dominion of sin in totality. Let your light shine!

Romans 6:1-2 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? (2) God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

The answer you seek, is found in the Cross. Jesus Christ is the solution for mankind - there is no other! It takes the Power of God to set the captive free. Many bypass the Cross for their solutions and Grace is cancelled. These problems we face are too severe to be talked out of anybody. Bondage (taskmasters are demon spirits that come to afflict - Exodus 1:11) can be broken only by the Power of God. This is why Jesus had to come from Heaven and die on the Cross in order that the power of sin may be broken. Sin has a power behind it and his name is Satan.

If a Christian will and their efforts to live for God is in anything except Christ and the Cross, i.e., Finished Work, The Blood of Jesus (Romans 8:2), Satan can override your will and force you to do things you don't want to do and trying not to do (Ephesians 6:12). Our willpower is routed in flesh. This is why Jesus said deny yourself and pick up your cross and follow me (Luke 9:23). In other words, receive my benefits daily I have provided for you.

The Christian is doomed to failure if he thinks he can face the sin business and simply say yes or no. That's not the way it works. Those who try that (and almost all have) will conclude by failing every time. You may win for awhile, but after awhile, you're going to fail.

Now, stop and think about this for a moment: If it were possible for us to defeat sin and the attacks of Satan by willpower, then Jesus would not have had to come down here and die on a Cross. He could have merely taught us how to function within our willpower, and that would have solved the problem.

However, He didn't do that, did He? The truth is, the problem of sin is so deadly that it took the Cross to defeat this monster, and even then, we have to have the help of the Holy Spirit to get this thing done. That's why Paul said, "But if the Spirit (Holy Spirit) of Him (God the Father) who raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He who raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit who dwells in you" (Rom. 8:11).

This tells us that sin is so powerful that it takes the same power to overcome this thing as it did to raise Jesus from the dead, which, of course, is the power of the Holy Spirit. Understanding that, we should come to the conclusion that our personal willpower is totally inadequate.

However, most Christians little understand the victory of the Cross and try to do this thing on their own, which always results in failure.

The majority of Christians know nothing about the Cross of Christ for sanctification. Justification delivers us from the penalty of sin, while sanctification delivers us from the power of sin. The Cross of Christ is as necessary for sanctification as it is for salvation (1 Cor. 1:18).

Because we are in this body of flesh, as Paul said, "We have not been perfected yet (Philippians 3:12-13)," and because we have a enemy within and a enemy without (the world, the flesh, and the Devil), you can still get tired of trusting. This is why the scripture says:

Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Galatians 5:1
