Marx said that sodomy was born of upper class decadence. Sometimes, I think he's right...I mean, homosexual activity used to be something that the upper classes engaged in more often (and tolerated), but now it seems to have trickled down to the masses. Then again...many modern societies, as a whole, have more stuff and heady ideas floating around all the social classes.

God Would Never Do This.........


People today (especially the Christian clergy) believe that God's demonstration of his love for us precludes any objection to our sin, especially the sin of homosexuality.


Consider the verse in Genesis 2:22 …..

Genesis 2:22 King James Version (KJV)
22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.

Notice that God didn't say to the man, or to the woman, to go 'fetch' the other person after he created them both. It says that God brought the woman to the man. So for anyone to now say that God brought one man together to another man, or that God brought one woman together to another woman, to form a marital bond, is completely absurd! If God condoned a homosexual relationship he would have created more than one man and more than one woman and then brought them both together....but God didn't do that!


Also notice that since God knew that Satan was lurking about, ready to tempt the woman or the man, that God did not create more than one woman, or more than one man, so that Satan could not introduce the sin of homosexuality into the Garden of Eden.


If you find yourself in a homosexual relationship then just turn from your sin and ask Jesus Christ to restore your life to become what it was meant to be, just like in the Garden of Eden, where God brought the woman to the man in a heterosexual relationship.

You know, so many people who leave christianity end up accepting homosexuality with everyone else. Most likely as a sign of revolting against their former beliefs. But that did not happen to me when I left my former beliefs, no for me the jury is still out. Which means I dont push my views on the homosexual community as you have just done today.Why? because I dont have enough "real" data about homosexuality to know what opinion to form.

And you are right in thinking he is right. The upper classes of the Greeks, the Romans, the Brits and the Europeans generally had no use for God, but turned to idols of one kind or another. Since in reality demons are behind idols and committed to evil and perversion, the results were exactly as described in Romans chapter 1 (by Divine inspiration). Now the upper classes of North America believe they are "liberal" because they approve of sexual perversion. They too are blinded and deceived by their own idolatry. But Marx had his own idols.

I have said this before. I have four homosexual, (Two couples, 2 women & 2 men) who life in two houses across from me. I get along with all of them and they know my position. Because I like them so much, I grieve for them because I know where they eventually will go. It might be that their death is imminent....Because homosexuality is so touchy (no pun intended) I need just the right Holy Spirit opportunity to witness to them. Right now it is my Christian lifestyle that speaks the loudest.

Speaking as someone who was in that lifestyle for a while, I can say...its hard to get people to understand. I know that "you are either for me, or against me," but some people are more "against me" than others, you know? One of the problems with homosexual practice, especially when its progressed to the point that you're living with a romantic problem of the same-sex, is that it clusters w/ other sins. Not always true, but often true. Also, by the time people settle down, they've had their fair share of partners (usually) and...that's it. That's their identity.

Anyway, its said that Christians should watch our behavior, because we may be the only Bible many people will ever read. I think in your situation that it might be wise to "show Christ" to them first and then, I dunno...clearly, you're more knowledgable and all than me, its just...

...its tough, to get through to people when they're mired in serious sin. And their serious sin is increasingly "affirmed" or whatever by society at large. And there don't seem to be any apparent immediate- or mid-term consequences. I guess I'm saying...and this isn't some angry ex-gay bashing or whatever, just my opinion...that a lot of actively homosexual people have seared their consciences. Some (maybe many?) go so far as to attempt to re-shape Christ and God the Father into something/someone more palatable to them. Others reject God straight away.

Then again...the most unlikely people get saved. You just never know. I mean, I got saved (of all people), and that was never going to happen, lol (mentally ill, sodomite, former junky, etc. etc. etc.). I just don't want you to have any trouble w/ these people. I don't know about lesbians, but a lot of gay men are really harsh and self-important and judgmental, particularly as they get older...

...so yeah. LOL. Ramble...
