define hate crime !!! speaking out against is not a hate crime.
Unfortunately, it is considered criminal these days. Pastors have been jailed for reading the Bible's statements on homosexuality and that is considered "hate speech."

See what I mean? Traditional Christian doctrine is hate crime material in some nations. Thing is..

It seems to me that laws like these reflect the power elites values more do than say laws prohibiting kicking puppies and beating up orphans. So..,

The potential seems present for social engineering through hate crime laws and anti radicalism efforts. Creepy…

I write this as a more or less socialist individual btw.

Homosexuals always get picked on and get a hard time. Whoever is without wrong cast the first stone. You dont see people speaking out about divorce or drunkards or adulterous like you do homosexuality. I don't understand why gays seem to get such a hard time.

Picking on a individual or group of peoples is just crooked. You don't see adulterous or drunkards or divorce being picked on as much as homosexuals. Just saying. It's observation.

Homosexuals seem to get a hard time and I think it's morally wrong to pick on gays as some do. Not many, but some do, and it's not good. You want to bring people to Christ not pick on them and scare them away so they think Christ rejects them or something. We suppose to set a good example in Christ and love our fellow brothers and sisters for who they are not just pick on them and call them sinners.

Yeah…

There’s too much f that. Here locally a dude with a megaphone was talking about the sins of porn divorce and adultery. Another day he was criticizing psychiatry and I was thinking…awesome. Then he was gone.

Probably got moved on for being a public nuisance by disturbing people. Everyone is entitled to there opinions and views but blasting everyone and the whole neighbourhood with a megaphone that's just next level annoying no matter who it is. Lol.

In a community everyone got to have respect for others and there neighbours.

Or maybe the question should be why other sins don't get such a bad rap. We turn a blind eye to drunkenness, heterosexual sins, and so forth. Why is that?

I don't disagree but if I open a small grocer ,I don't have to sell beer or own a bar .

In some more toxic Christian subcultures I got the impression that heterosexual sins were natural but sinful and gay sins were unnatural and far worse.

A hate crime is when I play Stevie Ray Vaughan or BB King and turn the volume up and people get offended. Then again I haven't had any complaints yet. I have only ever been told to turn it up louder.
