Hi everyone. I thought I'd join and get involved in an online community of believers. I'm missing that. I'm a grace believer saved by God by grace through faith. His Son Jesus died "for my sins," was buried, and rose again the third day. That's the only reason I'm right with God and the only reason I'm going to heaven when I die.
(NASB) 1 Co 15 Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand, 2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast [a]the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. 3 For I delivered to you [b]as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,
I loved the statement of faith and enjoyed very much that it pointed out the sealing work of the Spirit of God upon having heard and believed the succinct gospel concerning Christ.
(NASB) 13 In [q]Him, you also, after listening to the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also [r]believed, you were sealed in [s]Him with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is [t]given as a pledge of our inheritance, with a view to the redemption of God’s own possession, to the praise of His glory.
Anyway - I wanted to indicate as clearly as I know how to that I'm a grace believer and hopefully get to know some people here.
