Help Stop Abortion: Let’s all fight back.

The woman who was raped may not want to carry the child of the monster who raped them.

Then let the court decide based on all the evidence provided.

Example:

Was the woman in a nightclub wearing revealing clothing and getting drunk acting foolish and ended up getting raped in n the parking lot by another drunk patron?

What are the circumstances?

“If a young woman who is a virgin is betrothed to a husband, and a man finds her in the city and lies with her, then you shall bring them both out to the gate of that city, and you shall stone them to death with stones, the young woman because she did not cry out in the city, and the man because he humbled his neighbor’s wife; so you shall put away the evil from among you. Deuteronomy 22:23-24

Not all women who get an abortion desire sex with many partners.

I agree.

Each case should be examined by the court to determine all circumstances.

I get it.

Many women desire to have sex with many partners and just abort the child if they should accidentally get pregnant.
No different than men who want many partners.

I'm sorry, but that still doesn't mean the rape was justified!

Nope! The court can be a conservative one and I do not trust that they would do the right thing. Courts need to remain out of it.

I agree.

What grounds does a court have to hear the case? You would need to legalise the personhood of a fetus with legal rights.

Then you have to argue whether body autonomy or right to life trumps one another.

Then let the court decide based on all the evidence provided.

Ah, I see you want to turn back the clock to when rape could be justified and thrown out. We as a country moved past this because it's not justice.

"We as a country"?
Is there a "we as Christians" part of you?

So let’s ask everyone involved.

The courts
The doctor
The other members of the family
The unborn child
The courts ruled its a body Autonomy issue.
Most Doctors treat abortion as a medical issue and medical science has done a lot of research into human development.
Why should anyone except the mother and possibly the father have a say over the body of a woman?
The unborn don't have complete rights due to them being a dependant. That's why it's a bodily auyonomy issue.

Yes. So far none of this discussion has impacted a Christian's rights. None of this discussion has impacted whether it's "christian" to have an abortion. If a Person considers it against their faith to have an abortion. That's completely fine. The issue I'm discussing with JLB is that they wants to bring in legislation to fight abortion. That then opens up an avenue to where now JLB has to fight against established case law and rulings.

Since the US and its states are secular governments, it needs more than a religious stance to argue the legality.

Why should anyone except the mother and possibly the father have a say over the body of a woman?

Why should anybody have a say over a forced vaccination with an experimental vaccine, yet may people are losing their jobs because they don’t want medical advice from their employer or politicians?

Again, these issues are for the states to decide.

If a state outlaws abortions then move to a state that doesn’t.

Ultimately we will all stand before our Lord on the Day of Judgement, to give account for our deeds.

Abortion is murder.

Where do you find rape being justified in this passage?

Please point it out.

The woman has to be heard screaming out, or it's a death sentence to both. It's not on the victim to scream out. It's all on the person who is committing the rape.

You are the one making the argument. You need to back it up.

Sorry, case law doesn't work like that. The legal status of one's body doesn't change across state lines. Quantril and I were talking about that earlier. It's enshrined in the constitution.

Ultimately we will all stand before our Lord on the Day of Judgement, to give account for our deeds.

Abortion is murder.
I know you believe that. That still does not mean you have legal president to ban it.

Ok, the US and its states are secular governments. The Biblical passage has just as much legal weight as the Quran.

It's not on the victim to scream out.

Not according to the truth.

If it’s up to me, then so be it.

Abortion is now illegal in all 50 states.

Amen.

Not according to the truth.

The US and its states are secular governments. You seem to missunderstand this. If you want to impact and change US legislation, you need more than the Bible.
