You know reading all these posts I'm beginning to feel why so many homosexuals who were once in the church leave or are afraid to confront their feelings or just kill themselves. Not because people tell them in brotherly love that sin is wrong , but because people literally almost beat them down in the name of "Christianly love", people tend to be so self- righteous, and the fact that every time you mention homosexuality you get so much hate mail your box becomes full, not to mention your told amillion times a day ou're going to hell.
 
No one in these forums has ever preached that a homosexual can be saved?

Are you sure?

I believe a homosexual can be saved like everyone else.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
 
This is very obviously a pride and arrogance issue, masked behind homosexuality. It's more about who's right or wrong and who gets the last word....Don't be fooled.

Are you saying that this is not an issue worth fighting for?

Is there a "right side" and a "wrong side" to this issue?

You cant win on this forum bb, unless you have the power to delete and enforce rules consistantly.
The only way to win will have to come at that level because you are out numbered.
These people are only exploiting homosexuality for the self righteous gain of looking good and trying to make others look bad who stand on biblical principles.
Thats all they are interested in.
Arguing with them only gives them the voice to decieve others into thinking because you stand on biblical principles that you hate homosexuals. They are quite skilled in what they do, I want no part of it.

As long as these threads are left open I am going to fight the good fight.

It isn't about winning It is about fighting for truth.

I would love to see these threads closed but as long as they are open I will be here swinging.

some people aggravate me, self-righteous, pretentious, generalizing air heads, that's what this world is reduced to, you can't say anything until you've been in some one else's shoes, or you've become perfect and now hold the mandate of God.

Obviously some of you have no clue, being homosexual isn't about proving the bible wrong or exploiting it, no clue at all.For many it's quite the opposite, it's a very humbling lifestyle when you realize you have no one who wants to know the real you, and people hate you, or are biased towards you who don't even know you.
 
Practicing homosexuality is sin. It needs to be repented of and that is exactly what the bible states.

You're like a worn-out record, BB, and so am I. Until you're without sin in your own life then you're not qualified to call others for what you also do.

And, this is not a clever way of promoting homesexuality, destiny, but an absolutely pertinent biblical fact.
 
You know what I'm leaving, I have more important things to do than argue, I actually have midterms and such and more things to do than sit around and think about who I can condemn next, or how I can prove myself more righteous than the next( no names). So I'm going study, ....my physics book.

Couldn't have said it better myself. This is not a slap on the back simply because 'we're on the same team' but an acknowledgement that what you say is scriptural.

gotcha, see I guess I can understand the reasoning behind your posts and posts like yours, but others like those who shall remain nameless have no right to judge and can't really tell anyone to do anything, because like you said they don't know the circumstances, and are sinners unto themselves, and shouldn't really claim to be Christians. Just for the record, the answer to the question you've been thinking about if you've been reading my post is... yes I am.( No I'm not kidding)

....No pressure at all 'itysa', my door is open to you if you ever decide to visit. I hope you don't get sucked into these endless arguments, they aren't producing anything but fighting.
