I'm just listening to a Christmas song right now. A radio station is playing it.

I think it is kind of early.

Joyful, joyful, we adore thee", "Glory in the highest"

It seems a bit early, lol. Doesn't it seem that Christmas preparations begin earlier and earlier each year?

In order for Capitalism to prove its effectiveness, all retail outlets must prove they made a profit the "last quarter", so, to do this, they all have to keep moving back the "Christmas sales start date" each year.
Eventually this date will start in the Spring.
Eventually you'll see Santa's elves holding the Chocolate Rabbits and the colored eggs.

Balderdash! I wanted to be the first one to post about Christmas this year. :lol
I had an idea and never posted it.
You win. :cries

Great videos. I felt that wind of Christmas as I listened to the videos

Planning the gingerbread house out now. Gifts have been and will continue to be purchased. It's all about the preparation and not the day in our house.

Cookies and gifts and decorations and parties and...

Just last week I told myself I should begin to plan to buy certain things this early before Christmas inflation sets in. Only consumers lose where sellers make a lot of profit. I think this is the time to start buying,

Actually you have missed the sales
Right now prices are going up so they can go on sale later.

Raspberry PI is the only product I know of staying the same price. (Cheap computer)

That is really true

Just think how many extra presents we could buy with our dollars without the bank's Christmas inflation. The bank is the Grinch that takes some of our Christmas presents away.

What’s wrong with that? I heard a woman on one of those game shows asked who would Santa call on if he became unable to deliver presents on Christmas Day. She answered suggesting the Easter Bunny; he had all the same addresses and knew the route or something to that effect. My thought is that those two are some sort of fantasy buddies, depend upon one another, share the fame and the profits, and little kids don't care. :shrug

I attended a white elephant Christmas in July party, complete with Santa. Why wait?

Well. It is so interesting that economists tell us that the demand for G & S fall when prices increase: inflation.
However it increases during Christmas with increase in prices. Everybody wants to buy something and be happy.

I think it was you that started a thread about how Christmas decorations are going on shelves earlier each year...that was last year?
