The words mean what they mean as I already explained. I don't know what you want here and you refuse to answer so its starting to look like you're just throwing up a smoke screen. You said you knew the meaning of the words in Rom 12:19 (ESV). Would you now provide us with your exegesis of those terms and the sources for your exegesis?

Can you give any examples? "The media" -- whatever that means -- generally report on public shootings involving multiple deaths. It's impossible to report daily on every single shooting in the US; there are far too many.It seems lately that if there's news of a gun shot the media, which is generally anti-gun, will immediately label it a mass shooting.
2 Chr 7:14Is it possible? Your spiritual biblical views.
I don't know if I could find a specific example now because I do not remember where the event took place but I do recall an incident somewhat recently where one person was shot and it was reported as a mass shooting. Can you give any examples? There is no basis for saying that "the media" is "generally anti-gun". If there is, how about some evidence?

For anti-gun evidence, I'll give you an example but it is only from my memory because again, I do not recall preciseley when or where this happened but only what was reported. I do clearly remember thinking how they lacked integrity, as usual, in their reporting. What I recall was an incident where a person killed some people and that person used a shotgun but the news report highlighted images of an AR-15 during their report. There wasn't even an AR-15 in possession of the assailant but that's the image the media portrayed. If you're expecting me to locate a copy of the video, I will not be able to provide one.
I remember another incident when the news media portrayed images of handguns while reporting about a shooting that did not involve any handguns at all.
Pay closer attention yourself and you'll notice some of these subtle things they do to sway public opinion.

The OP subject is: how can the USA reduce mass shootings.
The best way is to reinforce the entire Second Amendment...
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
Clearly the intent is that there be a trained militia (National Guard, police) to protect the nation's security. This has nothing to do with people buying guns and taking the law into their own hands.
BTW, I am a gun owner.
When I was younger I used to hunt (for food!) but no longer do so. However, I enjoy the zen-like precision of target shooting so I still shoot regularly. I also enjoy shooting historical reproductions of black powder rifles.jaybo,
Why do you own a gun? I'm not a gun owner and never will be.

a very young child was fatally shot during some sort of accident...parents were responsible gun owners and all that good stuff,
