Exactly, there has to be a law for there to be sin. So there has to be a law for there to be a sin, that's what I have been saying the whole time.

Another question that might sound stupid, so forgive me in advance: If Satan fell before humans, how come he was in Heaven in the first place when he tricked Eve?

He wasnt in heaven when he tricked eve. He and his demons were cast to the earth, i assume when the earth was dark and without form shortly after the evil angels were cast out. The devil wasted no time in oppressing humans and trying to ruin the connection to God.
