The new covenant was given to Israel not Gentiles:
31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD,
That I will make a new covenant
With the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers
In the day that I took them by the hand
To bring them out of the land of Egypt;
Which my covenant they brake,
Although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD:
33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel;
After those days, saith the LORD,
fI will put my law in their inward parts,
And write it in their hearts;
And will be their God,
And they shall be my people.

God made no covenant with Gentiles.
The new covenant you bring up is with the house of Israel.
Not Gentiles.

One Church with many man made denominations scattered amongst it.
Scripture has only one church founded by Christ on Peter and the apostles Matt 16:18-19 eph 2:20 and no denominations all other are heretical sects of the tradition of men Jn 16:13

With all the people you mentioned now gone, who is it among you have appointed yourselves to stand between God and Man?

Matt 23:1 the successors of Moses has the kingdom and authority and Jesus said they must be obeyed!’
The kingdom was taken from them Matt 21;43 and given to Peter and the apostles, so too their successors have the administration of the kingdom and authority, the local bishop in union with the successor of Peter in union with Christ! Acts 1:15:26

I suppose that is where some of the false churches got the idea that they can rule over their members instead of serve them as Jesus did.

The 30,000 sects (the tradition of men) having no authority at all! And holding and teaching contrary and new doctrines!
When was the “time of reformation” According to scripture?
The time of Christ?
Or the time of Martin Luther?
Heb 9:10 10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.
Christ reformed the mosaic covenant into the new covenant and it is of divine origin and CANNOT be reformed by the tradition of men!!!
