Davies:
So how do you mean?
I have 2 in both of my ear lobes. My second piercing I almost never use though. I got it in high school; it hasn't closed up though so I still have the option of using it! Lol
I was trying to be lighthearted. In our freedom in Christ, we can get ear piercings, tattoos, wear our hair in bizarre fashions, and cloth ourselves in modern styles. I think we differ on the wisdom of this, but those of us who think "old-fashion" shouldn't be judged and the other way around. That doesn't mean we can't discern what is better.
Romans 14:3
New King James Version (NKJV)
3 Let not him who eats despise him who does not eat, and let not him who does not eat judge him who eats; for God has received him.

We all have preferences just like different style clothes and different hair styles, wild ones, or no hairBlev:
Well, I see.
Like, if you're old fashioned about young men (and older) getting ear piercings, so are you for example also old fashioned about the many women (younger and more mature) who get double (or more) ear piercings?
We all have preferences just like different style clothes and different hair styles, wild ones, or no hair
Yep you were Thats not what I was saying, I was saying we all have personal preferences in many things, like wild hair(Or maybe I'm just putting words in your mouth; --)

Just one on each side. Always Have, Always Will!
Oh okay Blev,
So when you said wild, you were referring exclusively to hair.
Got you, anyway, ty.
(Kind of a bit off topic, but still...)
Blessings.
Is this per ear? In that case one in each. That are probably closed by now because I'm not girly enough to bother with earrings.
Not really, since I was using it as an example of how people have different tastes whether its piercing or other things.
No you aren't understanding. I keep telling you I didnt say that.Blev: Oh okay, so you'd include extra ear piercings among different tastes that you think are somewhat on the wild side? If so, I'm not sure that many people would agree with you, really, because it's very widely done.
No you aren't understanding. I keep telling you I didnt say that.
Never mind. Moving right along----
Okay so this is a less serious and more lighthearted thread.
Lots of folk, women and men, get their ears pierced these days, so how many holes do people have pierced altogether, in their ears? (I think we can count earlobes and cartilage).
just voted , one in each earlobes..
God's gift:
Ty for your vote and comment. In some countries, girls are almost 'born' with their ear piercings acquired in infancy; maybe it's this way in your country, too?
Blessings.
yes and i get mine when i'm in gradeschool...
