So do you think you'd go back to wearing earrings if it wasn't for your school's staff dress code?

Blessings.

One in each. Do you think that this is okay? :chin

PS: @Rose :

Sorry, when you said "this is okay? :chin", did you mean: okay, as in too many already? or okay, as in still not sufficient? :)

Blessings.
You are cute, dear brother farouk. Really.

Never mind. Doesn't matter anymore.

May God bless you. Love Rose
Rose:

Well, okay; sorry. :)

I guess in your profession anyway to have them is more or less expected and obligatory.

Blessings.

I know this is an older thread but i hav 8 holes in each ear lol i have other piercings but u said ears
KayGraham1611:

Well, I reckon it can be classy to have done, anyway. Sounds like you wanted symmetry with an identical row each side. I guess ears are by far the most 'traditional' place to get piercings, anyhow.

Blessings.

I dont where them all most of the time...i usually only have my cartilage one in at all times and i recently took my gauges out n are letting those go bk to normal

@KayGraham1611 :

It used to be that one pair on the lobes was the 'default' pair to have in all the time, but now it's often the cartilage ones that stay in, while the others often are left out.

So you have liked to stretch a bit; sounds like you didn't go to a lower gauge than 'the point of no return', then, which for a lot of ppl is around 2 gauge.

Blessings.

I had a double zero its bab the size of a penny maybe a bit bigger bt not much
@KayGraham1611 :

Oh must have felt nice to go that big to 00g, and anyway so you're confident in any case they will close up again. When they are in, the plugs/tunnels/tapers must weigh a bit, depending which they are, and whether they are acryllic, stainless steel or wood, anyway.

Blessings.

Oh yea theyll go back this is the 2nd time ive gauged them out...n they dnt weigh that much usually the only ones that weigh alot are the stone plugs

Well I would say go for it then if the person feels the confidence that they won't stay that way permanently, it must feel really nice to go that big successfully, especially if they will do down again; you must know how much the plugs all weigh if you've had a selection, anyway.

(Supper time, gtg cook...)

Blessings.

@KayGraham1611 :

(Back from supper; but my wife managed to get to the oven first...)

Read your last post again; so how long is it okay to gauge them out for, to 0g or even 00g, before having to let them preferably go back to normal again?

(You said you've done it twice, anyhow.)

It must feel nice to go that big successfully, anyway, and yet know they will go down again.

Blessings.

farouk ive had mine this time for a year n just took them out a few days ago...there nt really a time limit but i do know that once u get to the size of a quarter is when u start getting to the point of they wont go bk on there own n u will hav to have surgery to make them normal again

I see, ty; a whole year is a nice long time to have them in. About the same time as the previous time you did it, maybe?

Must feel nice, anyway.

Blessings.

(PS: Don't suppose Matthew G has wanted to do it, too, or even your 17 year old brother...: :) )

The last time i had them gauged out it was for a longer period of time....n matt has his pierced but not gauged n neither of my brothers have piercings :)

Don't suppose @Matthew G has wanted to do it,

Negative lol. I had my ears pierced several years ago, and I wear them now because my wife likes it. Outside of that, I have no interest in poking anymore holes in my ears or stretching out the ones I have. ;)

Sounds like your dear wife put you up to it to go have them pierced! :)

Blessings.

You would think, but actually I got one ear pierced when I was in 7th grade, then I quit wearing my earring in high school. We met when I was 19. Around that time, I mentioned maybe getting the other one pierced and wearing earrings again. She was all for the idea, pierced my other ear, saw it, loved it - and the rest, as they say, is history. :D

@KayGraham1611 :

Well, I see; seems like your 17 yr old bro's first venture into bodmod will be his Phil. 4.13 tattoo for his 18th, rather than piercings, then.

(Not unusually, piercings precede tatts, anyway.)

Blessings.
