Bible Study How Many Judgments Are There?

I have looked at the mid-trib rapture with interest which places the rapture prior to the "great tribulation" which is the last three years of the tribulation.I see two problems with it.First, the only term of "great tribulation" in the entire book of Revelation is in 7:14.And the only reference to a "great day of wrath" is in Revelation 6:17.Both of these come too early for a mid-trib rapture.

There is a simple way of looking at the seven year tribulation, I like simple. The first half is for the Church, or people who profess to believe in the Christ of God, Jesus....The second half is Jacob's trouble. This half is to bring Israel to it's knees, and terrible torture for those who have rejected to live for God and who hates His Son Jesus.

Kathi, Please take another look at Revelation. I believe that what you are referring to "Great Tribulation" and "Great Day of Wrath" are both in Jacob's trouble. They are in the last 31/2 year period of the Trib. to try the earth.

Yes,I do know that some look at it in this way.But my understanding is that "Jacobs Trouble" is the 7 year tribulation period."The Great Tribulation" is the last 31/2 years of the tribulation. The last 31/2 year period of the tribulation is different because that is when the Beast or Antichrist appears. The tribulation and the "Great Tribulation" are not synonymous terms."The Great Day of Wrath" is also the last 31/2 years of the tribulation period.I believe the trumpets and the seals happen in the last 31/2 years of what is the "Great Tribulation".I am not 100% percent sure of that but I will research some more and ask around. My timing is different than yours because I see the Church going up in the rapture at the very start of the 7 years.

That's OK Hon, wow, I don't think in the forty years that I have been studying Revelation, that two people will have the same theology of that Great Book. There are so many different interpretations as stars in the heavens. It seemed like a few years ago, I was confused about a point in Revelation, and I asked God, "Who really can understand Revelation?" I think He said "Me" :hysterical I didn't hear anything after that impression, so I gave up. Your interpretation is as good as mine. When you and I get to glory, we'll sit on a golden park bench and laugh about how wrong we were because it will be far beyond our finite understanding. Until then, keep posting your wonderful ideas and theology, I love to see how you relate to people, you're a godly woman who I admire.

Different views.

but not mine. the easiest and shortest way of saying mine is post trib. but this the bible study so I cant debate this.

I am not asking for any debates I am just putting the information out there.
I know the positions. I learned and listened to them all. your poster there is why I don't, I can clearly see the time line and the countdown that violates scripture. also just posting what I believe. this does have the end times in mind.

This subject is very complex to say the least. Revelation is not in chronicle order which adds to the confusion, I wish it were. This is the only book in the Bible that has such a blessing for those who read it and meditate on it which causes me to wonder, wow! I must be really dumb because to my knowledge, confusion is not a blessing. Therefore, I have tried to take a very simple approach to understanding. It appears to me, that when the evil one desecrates the Temple, that is the half way point in what Scripture calls the tribulation. There is the "tribulation" and the "Great Tribulation" referred to in Rev. 7:14. It appears that there is a switch after Chapter 6 and the beginning of Chapter 7. I do see some other Scriptures that might be referring to the first half.

My wife and I have had many conversations about Revelation. She has a Pentecostal background, which makes her pre-trib rapture. I myself am a mid trib gathering so that the Church won't be subject to God's wrath to the unbelieving world and Israel. When my wife Debi see's something that supports her position, she says, Hey Charlie, think about this with your little pea brain buster!" Oh my! The more I study Revelation, I change my view almost every time because I see something I hadn't noticed before. Oh well. The only thing I know for sure is, looking at world events, Jesus is coming soon and we're either in the first half of the Tribulation, or about to enter it.

I love you guys and enjoy reading and seeing the pictures you post Kathi. Thank you so much for your views. As I said before, your view is just as good as mine and I respect and honor you guys for your study into God's Word.

:lol That is cute.I have heard of husband and wife having different view of he End Times.

Nope. Personally, the Church has to go through some testing, there are way too many who merely profess but don't possess. Got to get rid of the goats.
Isn't that what the tribulation is Chopper?Do you think the Holy Spirit will remain on this earth during the tribulation?

I do, I see at the end of the great tribulation that there will NO chance of redemption. without the HOLY GHOST infilling at salvation is NOT salvation.

I think the Holy Spirit will be on this earth during the tribulation. If the tribulation is going to bring many to Christ it would have to be present.
