Bible Study How Many Judgments Are There?

cool example, thank you in Yeshua, of 'right ruling' / i.e. 'judgment' .... there are many judgments in Scripture - search the Scriptures for the word "judgment" and read them as able... it is awesome !

Why does God send Unbelievers to hell before judgment?
And then why judge them and then just send them back to hell?

I don't remember the all-about, but reading the N.T. it seems that 'hell' is a word that may mean in the original 'grave', thus they are not currently suffering while in the grave(they can't feel or think or do anything in the grave, neither can believers awaiting resurrection, but after the judgment, then i wouldn't want to be in their shoes !!!

God doesn't send them because it is His choice that you believe in Jesus Christ and go to heaven.A person sends themself to hades/hell because of their choices.

Just a reminder that reincarnation is a forbidden subject for our Forum. Please stop all references to it. Reincarnation, according to the Administration is un-Biblical, therefore must not be presented. Thank You.
That is fine with me.

I was shown 3 people who apparently are in Hell because of me. I was told I led these people to Hell in previous lives. So I don't know why I even deserve to be alive.

As you might imagine, I'd really rather not believe in it either.

You might want to go over scripture and see if what you said is even Biblical.

I already know it's not, Kathi. So you think I'm innocent?

I just want to do the right thing. But I don't know what's right. I really don't any more.

Everything that is just and good and right is in Scripture. No one should think otherwise.

I'd give just about anything to know that you're right, and I'm wrong.
Then read the Scriptures. You can not go wrong with that.If you are going by visions, dreams or by what this world says then you are on dangerous territory.

Well that would not be the first time. I'm sort of in the category of "Have read Scripture, but have questions."

I was made to feel their pain. The pain of someone in Hell. I'll never forget that feeling as long as I live.

If this was the case with me I would be studying the Word of God and making sure I did not end up in that place.I am sure it is 100 times worse than you say you have experienced.

That's exactly what I'm trying to do. That's why I'm here.

Hi Kevin, I have been following this thread for some time and I know that you are in a confusing situation. Visions are a great way that YHWH instructed his Patriarch's in the O.T. as well as the N.T. Visions and dreams for us today are to be analyzed and compared with Scripture, just as Kathi has been saying. There is a Scripture that has a warning in it. Mat 24:24 "For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect." We are in a period of "testing". We just might be in the first half of the tribulation period. 2 Thess. 2 speaks of a great "falling away". That means that our faith is a battle ground. Satan has his demons out possessing men and women who come at us as prophets. They are trying to get us to believe a lie about many things that are contrary with the Word of God. They are trying to cause us to leave true Salvation and believe something else, that will lead to being lost!

We all have to be very alert to their schemes and deceptions. We must not believe their lies. Can they make us dream things that seem like the Lord is saying something to us? You bet! Can they cause visions? You bet! This period that we are in right now is the scariest time that believers in Christ Jesus have ever been in. Our very Salvation depends on not being deceived into believing a lie. The Matthew text that I posted says that the very elect of God is in danger of being deceived. Mark my words, Satan is very powerful when it comes to deception. He deceived Eve, and he tried to deceive Jesus. Jesus left us an example, test everything by the Word of God.

Be careful my friend, be very careful not to believe a lie from the evil one. I don't care if it did seem so real and true. That is how Satan works. Listen carefully to Kathi's instruction, she is God's messenger to you for this situation.

I am humbled by your kind and respectful words Chopper.

I see one judgement for the man whom isn't saved and another for the works of the saved. the judgement for the saved will be a mere formality in that one if saved will not stand before god but be welcomed in.

Thank you, Chopper. I know you're cutting me a little "slack". I know how deceptive Satan is. I know how he mixes truth with lie to sound convincing. I know he comes in on a person's weaknesses (for example, he knows I am not the kind of person who runs from guilt or responsibility, which I can't say about many people I know). I too believe these are the End Times, and the Enemy is making his final bid. I am counting on Jesus Christ to lend me clarity. This is not an option; I must have His help to work through this.

I have looked at the mid-trib rapture with interest which places the rapture prior to the "great tribulation" which is the last three years of the tribulation.I see two problems with it.First, the only term of "great tribulation" in the entire book of Revelation is in 7:14.And the only reference to a "great day of wrath" is in Revelation 6:17.Both of these come too early for a mid-trib rapture.

God doesn't send them because it is His choice that you believe in Jesus Christ and go to heaven.A person sends themself to hades/hell because of their choices.
Thanks Kathi,
I wanted to know how you (y'all who believe that hell consists of Eternal Conscious Torment, ECT) would answer this question because I've been asked by ECTists (In an effort to trap me) why God would bother to resurrect the dead just to send them back to death. It seems to me perfectly logical and biblical that God would do this, but I've never been able to convince an ECTist of this. And all the while I'm thinking "Doesn't your philosophy have the same or worse problem?"
Mine is "death, resurrection, second death", while yours is "eternal torment, resurrection, more eternal torment".

Do y'all see why I'm asking? (I'm not trying to pick on you especially, Kathi, as I like and respect you.)

Bravo Kevin, Bravo! You are on the right track my friend. Since you are asking Jesus to give you clarity, He certainly will lead you into Truth.
