How's your weather today, where you live?

Australia is going though a heatwave at the moment. Tomorrow may get up to 116 F (47 C). This should be interesting...
Well it's pretty hot at the moment, but hasn't reached the hottest part of the day yet. Thank goodness for the cloud cover though. Humidity is at least 70%.

N: You guys Down Under got it good. Bondi Beach, etc....

Well, yesterday it was raining and in the mid 30's F. This morning it is 5 F with a -15 wind chill and expecting to get colder.

Right now it's 67 and sunny.

It's suppose to go into the 80's again today.

Boy, it's some January we're having!

Bondi Beach is one of the worst beaches, simply because it's way too crowded. In summer it gets about 40,000 people per day. There are plenty of beaches closer to my house with less people and better surf. In fact most of Australia's coastline is made of beaches. My favourite beaches that I like to go to are Narrabeen:

And Sawtell Beach:

To give you an idea, here's a day at Bondi.

And now we come to Manly. A beach that looks nice, and the area around it is great (lots of good shops and restaurants) but the beach itself - not good surf.

And that concludes our lesson on beaches :lol

Nick:

Great photos! :)

Thanks a lot! You guys got it good down there, Down Under.

Blessings.

Sunny but cold winter's day. We had a bit of snow two days ago, but it isn't even fully covering the ground.

Nick those are awesome photos. You are one lucky guy to live in a place like that.
The mere existence of beaches is proof that there is a God and He loves us.

Beach climates need a lot of sun anyway. (A truism?)

Anyway I had a cousin that lived in Australia, and my wife has a cousin married to an Australian.

Cincinnati, Ohio-- cloudy, unseasonably warm--showers at times.

MsJo: Well, you guys are still by the Lakes, so it can get very snowy, I guess with the lake effect. But we, too, up on the Canadian side, have had it mild over the past days (though we had a dumping early in the new year).

I'm in Colorado, too but it was cold and cloudy all day yesterday and today. Snowed and the wind blowing. This morning at 7 in was below 0. High was 28 and it's now -5.

Deborah: You guys get all the precipitation from the Rockies, I guess.

We're now going through some tropical weather - rain and high humidity, but with lower temperatures.
