Our daughter captured this shot of our dog in the midst of the snowstorm. I guess her coat doesn't lose much body heat.

Took me a while too spot the dog in that picture.

Kansas City: Sunny, 45.

Had a dog get covered up in snow like that when I was growing up on the farm. Dad decided to let him in the house, it was getting so bad. Mom was unhappy when the dog shed all the snow with a big shake right next to the kitchen sink.

Dad forgot to brush him off.

She spends most of her time outside. It was snowing pretty hard (about 2" or more per hour) and she was probably laying there for about 30 minutes.

We were living in Buffalo for this one. We both got back from work safely to ride out the storm at home, but tens of thousands didn't.

Picked up about a foot of snow over the last weekend and another 4 inches last night. Temps are nice though.
