Still on the road, at least my cat calmed down. He was trying to claw his way out of the carrier and showing all kinds of stress signs. I can't blame him, being in a moving car while inside a little box would be scary.

I am here in Barbados we had a taste of Mattew last Wednesday, heavy rains and wind, but nothing like what is
happening in the other areas. We are expecting a tropical wave today, hopefully it will not be anything too great.
Prayers are really needed for the folks in Bahamas and Haiti.

The damage from this one has the potential to do far worse damage than Carla and the upper east coast ain't never seen what is possible with these storms. I pray they will not but it does not look good for them.

No, that´s true, you're on the clean side but the upper east coast might not be if it crosses the coast.
