In a hotel now.
I'm hearing that my county listed a mandatory evacuation this afternoon several hours after we left. The police and 911 and everything is shut down. The gas stations are out of gas. Some people are stuck there.

Storm has slowed way down. ItS now cat 3 .it loOKs like it will remain such until it hits land

Power is out,yet I has cell service. The eye is north east of me and will get close to the cape.pray for Titusville
 
And my friends who are in Florida... I'll remember them especially.
 
The worst of it has passed, some didn't loose power.minor damage to my house,stucco issue.I will fire up the generator once I get my wife motivated to help me.passing a cord around a shutter will be interesting. I don't think the guard will be doing much .

Last I heard it'll hit my county this afternoon. We don't yet have insurance on our house. :|

You own but didn't insure the home? I will pray for no damage to the house
