[__ Prayer __] I need your prayers, bad.

It's been awhile and I suppose I should post an update. So after my last post in August I went until day 13 and failed, and continued to fail 5 other times throughout the month. But the good news is that God has picked me up once again and I am now one month free from porn!

Have you tried burning any magazines or paraphernalia you have and asking God to fill you with His Spirit, and purge you of anything that is not of Him.

Im sure you can go on the internet and find porn but the point is dedicating yourself to Him with an action of faith by burning anything you have that is related to porn.

It's a hard battle you fight but don't get discouraged. Never give up. You will get there on the end. Good advice from JLB

A hobby or study?

Good question! The answer is no I don't have anything physical or digital saved anywhere. And you're right, if I did have anything saved the necessary course of action would be to get rid of it permanently.

Absolutely sister, I hope it's the last time I have to do it for this sin. The beginning of the end for porn was when I started to go to church and youth group. After that I had a pretty hard time bringing myself to do it after going there. Also being around my sisters in Christ, (especially the ones my own age,) made me view porn in a whole different light.

Keep holding on to Jesus. He will continue to strengthen you. Hold fast to him and mentally hold on tight by faith. You are an overcomer in Christ Jesus - keep telling yourself that.

I've been playing since Christmas, and yes I have written my own music before. Thanks for the prayers sister :)

Great stuff! That is a healthy hobby. Getting absorbed music might help you
You could even write something for The Lord.
