I can look at my religous views, and temporarily set them aside, to see that Vic and I are both Humans, and Both deserve fair treatment, and the same respect. So I in turn can let go of an argument, and basically apologize.

Vic looked at the views of christianity, refused to se tthem aside and see that we are both humans that are equal, and decided not to give me respect, and not to apologize. However, another christian, is able to jump up to the plate, and take a few swings too, getting a new side into the argument.

This caused me to reply again, and continue the battle.

That one has greater knowledge and truth over another does not make them better. It means they have a higher degree of responsibility to share that truth with others and help them understand. Charity is of course important but not easy as there is a balance between charity that comes accross as loving and being direct and forthright with the truth, which for someone like you comes accross as offensive. You don't want to hear it and therefore you resist. Men's views are not all equal sadly.

Well let's see he called the pharasees and scribes "a brood of vipers" and "blind guides". He used the phrase "cast not pearls before swine" and "do not give what is holy to the dogs". Some would see these as insults. I think Jesus said them out of love, knowing what these people needed to hear. Paul was insulted by Stephen's harsh language. I am quite certain howevre this helped bring about his conversion.

The first part you replied to, I am not just meaning that you and vic have all of America in your hand, However, many, most, almost all of the politicians, and government officials (republican or democrat, and some independent) have it that, they are better than others, because of their views. Their thoughts and morality makes them a better person.

Thess... I agree, with what your saying, and a majority of my point was, I believe, as hard as Vic believes, that I am right. And, it should be my duty, to instill upon others, what is right. There is no point in watching people suffer, when I believe my way will help. So, I dropped down and said "look, were playing with words, and nothing more"

About the sayings of Jesus. I thought he said those to others, and not to the faces of someone. Now it comes down to, Is it an insult if someone speaks behind ones back, but does not let them know of it, or ever intend to. Is it an insult to say "jimmy stay away from that house, the man that lives there is a child molester" if the man is? Being a child molester can be a fact, Being incompitent, dumb, or a "kid" is opinion.
