In Today's News

And both are doubling down on civilian hydrogen/ electric and autonomous vehicles.

Autonomous is the future of vehicles. Electric may become popular in cities with a lot of smog. Several nations have banned fossil fuel vehicles on a certain date. I don't know about that hydrogen though.

I had no idea that cows were slaughtered so I can eat steak. I always thought my stir fry beef and steak burger just fell from the sky.

Once I seen these lions attack a deer and eat it.

Apparently storming a restaurant and disturbing the peace why people are enjoing there meals is not seen as an offense to these authorities.

Yeah, they are currently converting jet fuel into hydrogen so I would think converting gas to hydrogen would be the norn.
Currently, the Volt gets about 50 miles on a charge before the gas engine kicks in to charge the battery. The Bolt gets about 250 miles on a charge. Slap a hydrogen fuel cell on that bad boy and you could cross the country with no iisues.

They exist now, but only in certain areas. The eventual goal is to use renewable electricity to generate hydrogen from moisture. No fossil fuels involved at all.

No, that one does not convert gas to hydrogen. You have to have a hydrogen filling station with that car. Current infrastructure would not allow you to go across the country easily because of the lack of hydrogen filling stations.

GM is converting Jet fuel to hydrogen

GM is converting Jet fuel to hydrogen

Your Green Car Report Article said:
The U.S. Army is also capable of extracting hydrogen from its J8 fuel.

It was my understanding that the army is making hydrogen from J8 in a separate facility. The GM SURUS vehicle itself only has hydrogen fuel cells. I may have misunderstood.

Still, its an interesting concept. Convert petrol to hydrogen inside a vehicle, and then use the hydrogen to run the vehicle. You could fill up at any service station that way.

You got it! And mpg will be through the roof.
Zero accidents, Zero congestion and Zero emmissions.
You gotta start somewhere... zero emissions is the low hanging fruit. I think we will see this in 2020, 2022 at the latest.

This is why GM is cutting its employees. There are far more white collar workers leaving than blue collar.

Yes, that's the main goal. Especially in cities with a lot of smog. Clean air is good for people.

Robot drivers could achieve the other goals, when the technology is ready.
Clean air and better, more efficient use of our finite resources until renewables take a stronger foothold.

If you follow these cuts, they are replacing many of these jobs with highly skilled developers that will help transform the automobile industry.

Fossil fuels are finite. Research on renewables, efficiency, and robotics is sensible. It will also help protect the US if trade routes are interdicted.

Not to mention being energy independent...

I dont like the idea that over 15,000 workers will loose their good paying jobs. But I understand this pivotal shift in the auto industry.

Lol! Sometimes I swear that Michael74 is a robot in disguise. :lol And I'm almost certain that robot was his first word. Lol, I'm just messing with you buddy. :tongue Anyways, before we get into today's report I forgot to post the article about the creator of SpongeBob passing away yesterday so I am going to do that first.

Alright, now that I've got that part out of the way, on with today's report! :salute

Robots are the bee's knees.

Stan Lee was married to the same woman for 70 years. Must be a nice man.

I'm happy that the deer is okay.

Those phone scams are getting silly. I wish phone companies would stop putting them through already.

You have a wonderful day too.

Wouldn't it just be a matter of eliminating pork (bacon) and such from their menus in select areas?
