In Today's News

The average untrained man can bench press approximately 135 pounds. The average untrained woman can bench press approximately 70 pounds. The world bench press record for a man is 1075 lbs. The world bench press record for a woman is 312 lbs. Well trained women are much stronger than untrained men. Some slender men can't even bench press 70 pounds.

The big muscle men who train with weights can lift far more than well trained women. Its not even close. Not all men can lift that much though. Some men are quite frail, and can't lift anywhere near as much as well trained women can.

Its a continuum, where no men or women can physically compete with the big muscle men.

But if you get trained men and trained women at the top level a trained man is going to have more strenght and power than trained women.

Yes, that's true. Women can't compete with well trained big muscle men. Well trained slender men can't compete with them either. Big muscles are an advantage.

The fight against terror has failed, the fight against drugs has failed, the fight against everything has failed, so what's makes anyone think the fight against climate will succeed?.

Catering to lobbyists is one reason. Ethanol in petrol is an example. It accomplished absolutely nothing with regard to climate change, and made the public mad because it was costly. Yet it continues year after year because of lobbyists, not because of science.

Someone impartial should design climate solutions, not lobbyists seeking to feather their own nests. CO2 has gone from maybe 250 PPM to 400 PPM since the Industrial Revolution. Some affordable and effective plan should be designed after impartial research on solutions has been done.

Ileanexie was the car taxi driver who went crazy.

Oh yes the first article that I posted yesterday. Now I know who you're talking about. By the way, even though I just woke up a little bit ago so far I'm having a much better day, but just so everybody already knows ahead of time there will be no news today, but I hope that everyone has a wonderful day and happy Mother's day to all the moms out there. :)

Hey everybody, welcome to another edition of today's news. :) I hope everybody had a great weekend and today's report is rather short so it's time for me to go ahead and bounce right into it! :boing

First of all in today's news a thirty-three year old woman was recently arrested and charged with child neglect after hundreds of bugs were discovered crawling out of her daughter's backpack. Here's more of the details.

And legendary actress and singer Doris Day passed away at the ripe old age of ninety-seven. I for one didn't know much about her (except for her name) but I sure hope that she's in a better place. :halo

Also a teenager in Canton Ohio has lost more than a hundred pounds by walking to school every day. :thumbsupCongratulations Michael! :clap

And also a draft horse from Sharon Township Ohio was rescued yesterday after it got stuck in the mud. Here's more. :)

Finally in sports it was another victory for The Cleveland Indians as they wound up beating The Oakland Athletics five to three in yesterday's game. :woot

That's all for today's news! Have a wonderful rest of the day and God's blessings on you. :biggrin

I walked to school 5 days per week when I was a child. I wonder if busing is preventing children from getting good exercise. At least in safe neighborhoods.

I hope Doris Day was saved. I liked her movies when I was younger.

May the Lord bless you.

To answer your question yes probably. I've seen a lot of bus riders that should be walking since they live so close to the school that they attend. What's next? Picking the students up in their driveway? I hope that Doris Day was saved as well and may the Lord bless you as well. :)

Walking is good exercise. As long as the neighborhood is safe.

Hey guys, I just wanted to let everybody know that there will be no news today so have a wonderful day everybody and God bless. :biggrin2

Hey everybody, welcome to another edition of tonight's news. :) I'm not sure how long of a report that we have tonight so I'm just going to get right to it! :salute

First of all in tonight's news find more about a new product that is giving parents of stillborn infants more time to grieve.

And a fawn was rescued earlier today in Olmsted Township. Here's more of the details. :)

And also police in Riverside Illinois currently issued a warning to pet owners about "zombie" raccoons in their area. Here's more of the information.

Also this isn't really newsworthy but I thought that I would still share it anyways. :eek2

And checkout a new Uber app which allows its passengers to have a quiet ride.

And also in sports The Cleveland Indians wound up crushing The Chicago White Sox today with a whopping final score of nine to zero! :woot

And find out what big change is coming to Avon Ohio. (I personally don't think that they need seatbelts as long as the seat in front of them will protect them in case of a crash, but I guess the safer the better.)

Finally in tonight's news a college fraternity in Hempstead New York has been suspended due to the fact of a recently released video that captured a puppy being forced to drink beer. Here's more. :mad

That's all for tonight's news! Have a wonderful rest of the night and stay tuned for more news to come. :yes
