In Today's News

I didn't know that bears ate dog food. Oh well, dog food must be tasty.

I think they have better understanding of metal nowadays. They can build sturdier ships.

May the Lord bless you.

May the Lord bless you as well and dogs and bears might find it tasty, but I think that I'll pass on the dog food. :nonono

Hey guys, I just wanted to let everybody know that there will be no news today. I just got back from the parade and I am going to the festival in a little bit so I'm going to be pretty busy and there aren't enough news stories that I find interesting today. I hope that everybody has a wonderful rest of the day and God bless. :biggrin

Hey everybody, welcome to another edition of today's news. :) We have a really short report for you today so I'm just going to hop right into it! :boing

First of all in today's news, the Ohio Attorney General's Office is currently working on a way to protect people from robocalls. Here's more of the information. :thumbsup

And a little girl from Gatlinburg Tennessee wrote a heartfelt apology letter after removing a rock from a national park. Here's more of the details. :)

Also after a rumor going around that the burgers at Dairy Queen were made of human flesh the record has finally been set straight. Here's more.

Finally in sports although it was only by a few points The Cleveland Indians wound up defeating The Kansas City Royals on Friday night with a final score of four to one. :woot

That's all for today's news! Enjoy the rest of your weekend and stay tuned for more news to come. :yes

Hey everybody, welcome to another edition of today's news. :)

Finally they are doing something about those annoying robocalls. Many people don't even answer the phone nowadays because the signal to noise ratio is so absurd. A lot of youngsters just talk to each other by text, instead of voice. That way they don't have to fend off people from around the world trying to get them to put a virus on their computer, or run some other scam on them. They don't have to put up with rings all day long with ads on them.

The robo phenomenon has changed the way people talk to each other. Made it more impersonal. If they eliminate robocalls, maybe people will answer the phone and talk to each other again.

Agreed. Robocalls need to go. I know that some of them are real people trying to make a living but most of the time they're just scams. :nono
