In Today's News

...you want unregulated mj?

I don't really care about MJ. I'm just tired of the drug wars being used as an excuse to make medicines like insulin ridiculously expensive in the USA. An excuse to keep inexpensive and effective medicines like Midrin off the shelves in favor of super expensive replacements.

Aspirin is inexpensive because its produced by the free market. No one worries about the quality of their aspirin when they pick up a bottle at the supermarket. Insulin could be inexpensive too if they just let the free market work like it does for aspirin. Drug wars are the excuse used to make Americans pay absurd prices for meds. $8 per vial for a children's medicine in Europe and $38,892 in the U.S. for the same medicine is just abuse of the system for profit by lobbyists.

Hey everybody, welcome to another edition of tonight's news. :)

Why do phone companies keep putting through scam calls like that? They should be automatically blocked.

I hope the actor and puppeteer were saved.

-31 degrees Fahrenheit is too cold to walk 1/2 mile in socks. Those children should not have been left unsupervised.

May the Lord bless you.

The system loves destroying all fun. Jumping off bridges is a tradition in this country. It's one of those things the country is known for and makes the country what it is. Every summer if your driving the country you will see people jumping off bridges into the rivers.

Hey everybody, welcome to another edition of tonight's news. :) I don't think that we have too long of a report to do tonight so let's go right ahead and hop to it! :boing

First of all in tonight's news this just in a sixty-seven year old man from Ravenna Ohio who recently faced discrimination at work for being in a wheelchair has now been offered a new position. Here's more on the story. :biggrin2

And the thirty-two year old man that inspired the Ice Bucket Challenge recently passed away at the age of thirty-four. :sad Here's more of the details and my thoughts and prayers go towards his friends and family members. :pray

Also apparently somebody ate a hundred and twenty thousand dollar banana. Wow,.. I didn't know that bananas could be that much. :shock

And also a couple of four year old twin girls were able to free themselves from a car before a crash wound up killing their father Friday night. Here's more of the details.

Finally in tonight's news checkout when the next full moon is going to be. :wink

That's all for tonight's news! Have a wonderful rest of the night and stay tuned for more news to come. :yes

$120,000 for a banana. Silly.

Those self checkouts are becoming more common. I like them for just a few items, but I go to a cashier if I have a lot of stuff. It's not easy to balance a lot of stuff on the scale. I'm glad that man got his job back.

That's amazing those 4 year olds were able to get out and climb to safety. Fortunately that woman came by and got them to safety.

May the Lord bless you.

Yeah I don't quite get the banana thing but may the Lord bless you as well. :)

Oh yeah I heard about those as well. My thoughts and prayers go towards the people that are and were effected. :pray

I didnt know how serious it was until today that people died and were severely injured. Bad accident. There is always a risk when touring a active volcano. My condolences go to family and friends.

Prescription meds are regularly recalled too. Making things cost a zillion dollars per bottle doesn't solve that issue.

List of FDA recalls. Its quite a long list.
Mj having regulation doubled ,tripled its price .

160 for thc,thc mixed into a cream .
That's not from big pharmacy they grow locally ,and can ship it to each pharmacy in,the states,I can pay for it online and get it delivered . from the pharmacy .despite that its still not gonna stop abusers.

My point .

Hey everybody, I just wanted to let you know that there won't be any news today. So have a wonderful rest of the day and God bless. :biggrin
