In Today's News

I don’t know who is putting her in this position. I could see myself encouraging my child to pursue a cause if they felt strongly about it.

It's ok to be passionate about something and I have given her credit before for actually walking her talk as she sailed, not like other climate activists that fly private Jets around the world that pump tonnes of CO2 each flight.

When it come to her cause I disagree as it's my right and I disagree with her accusations against others. She spoke on the world stage politically so she is going to get critisised. That's how politics works.

That’s fine. One can attack a person’s talking points, their policy positions, without petty personal attacks. And take into consideration something like their being a kid.

Welcome to another edition of tonight's news. :)

Cities should install additional cameras to keep people safe in their homes. Extra patrols are nice too, but they are usually temporary. London has cameras all over the city.

Stay away from psychics.

It would have been more fun if the money actually belonged to that woman. Maybe a rich uncle deposited the money for her.

May the Lord bless you.

London has a high crime rate, especially knife crime even it is full of cameras. Cameras don't prevent anything so no one is safer. More cameras just means more people wanted on CCTV after a crime has already been commited. The cost of maintenance, the cameras, and operation probably cost the tax payer hundreds of millions of pounds every year and London still has a high crime rate.

Not that I don't see your case, the state really is unable to prevent crimes ,this doesn't mean they or we shouldn't take precautions ,as the saying goes locks keep honest men honest ,very few locks ,even doors has stopped me from getting into.learned that skill from the military and my current job.people try to steal power by thinking if we don't read they won't be charged.one such case nearly had his entire 5 meter bank. Denergized from the xmfr, and homeowners played that and got their drops pulled from the pole.

How London's crime rate compares with select US cities. London is better, much better. Cameras help.

If they Brexit so they can keep out those Syrian terrorists, London will be even better.
The city of new York is better and more safe then London .
Im sorry having been stalked cops told me my wife unless positively id,the guy with your camera we cant help.
Lotta good a camera does wheb you can't own a knife or gun to stop the knife attacker also keep in mind how The crown defines crimes versus the u.s.

I can punch you and its not defined and punished the same .

To be completely honest with you guys I actually see both sides of the argument. :shrugAll I know is that feeling safe in your own home should be everybody's right. Anyways, I also agree to stay away from psychics whether they're phony or not. :yes (Which most of the time they are.)

So yeah there won't be any news today so I hope that everyone has a wonderful rest of the day and God bless. :biggrin

City cameras are nothing but a surveillance recorder. Nothing to do with safety, they don't stop or prevent a crime, they only record a crime.

Possible just commercial fish dumping.

"Nothing was feeding on them in the sea; no sharks, no seals, no birds," Morrell said. "It was very strange, like a plague or something."

My opinion. There is not that many sharks and they usually dont attack and eat floating dead small fish, I even had a mackerel live bait on the other day and a shark come past and wasn't even interested but if I had a big fish it might have gone for it, and there is also barely no seals at all if any in the area and they prefer chasing live fish anyhow, and the fish are too big for seagulls and most sea birds to eat so they just float in the ocean for days or weeks and the birds will just pick there eyes when they on the beach. That's the reason for nothing feeding on them. Some birds like shags and gannets might have had a feed on a few, they can eat them whole.
