In Today's News

I hope that poor girl is okay. She probably won't need a transfusion.

Gregory Smith was only 41.5 kilograms during his unknown time in the wilderness (locals say he was only there 12 months), and his memory is a blur which suggests nutrition may not have been optimal. Not very promising. He's better off in civilization like he is now. Still, 12 months is impressive. Maybe some people helped him by giving him food during that time. Its not likely that he brewed his own alcohol and drugs in the forest, so he didn't subsist entirely on local flora and fauna.

Hey everybody, welcome to another edition of today's news. :) I hope that you all are enjoying your day off work or school for Labor Day and this is a very rare occasion to enjoy the fact that it's Monday. :lol (although it really doesn't seem like it today) Labor Day is also supposed to be the unofficial end to summer and I think there's something about not wearing white after today but I really don't listen to that. Anyways, here is today's report! :salute

Let's hope Gordon does not become a hurricane.

Nice that the deer was rescued.

Maybe the Indians will win the next game.

Have a wonderful Labor Day too, and may the Lord bless you.

Cauliflower ear. Common in Martial arts, Boxing, and contact sports like Rugby.
No,only in grappling is it common,tbI from concussion. Mma us safer then boxing because any hit that causes a slight knockout where one is wobbly, can't defend and its over.unlike boxing with the ten count and the tko rule after three.elbows and knees are allowed and thus why they have a lower tolerance for knock outs

doth said stress involve cursing?. man I was mad, enraged at evil Tacoma Saturday. stubborn rack and pinion wouldn't want to install.i won but man that thing fought, I had to use a floor jack to line up one of the caps that hold it in place. rethread on hard (11 metric bolt). prayer works.

Take a break, and relax. You don't have to post news when you are stressed.

I hope you guys in Florida are okay from Gordon.
I live 300 miles north east of the keys and I am getting some rain but nothing that bad. Saturday morning it was so thick that I couldnt see the hood while I was throwing papers. I have read meters in that before. I hope tommorow wont be one of those days.

May the Lord protect you and your family Jason.
in a day or two this will pass. the bands are hitting me, that means the keys being closest to the eye are getting the brunt and ts. move faster then a hurricane and will , unless it stalls or turns. pass the keys quickly. its stopped raining now.

I will likely take the generator out tomorrow if able and ready it. so that when another one comes I can simply add gas fire it up,ran that last year about 20 hours.

the eye is off naples, meaning that the keys will still get the rain for a day or two. but the worst of it is over. I have rode out these to know. I remember when I lost the bougainvillea , the wind stopped at night and I went out to check and waited after the eye to pass and the winds and the rain got less intense. the right side of the eye was east of me. if that isn't over you, the storm is still a danger but less intense as the eye gets further. it also works the other way.
