In Today's News

So why do believers let unbelieving bankers confiscate so much stuff from them that they don't have the resources to get the job done?
Sure just dnot work ,somehow if you do ,buy some 30 year old car pay a gazillion to fix it .

Rent here,my home,is more then pay in mortgage .kinda hard to pay for private schools if you are single parent making under 10 per hour or even at 18.

Alas, inflation and special interest groups have helped drive the Gini coefficient to the moon.

So you think that an unsupported mom will be able to? Dad's in jail can't pay nor upon time served get a job easily.

Of course not. Happily married couples might, if inflation moderates. Churches might be able to help some single moms by providing affordable schooling. The Amish take turns schooling children. Doesn't have to be megabucks. Some churches have empty rooms during the week anyway. Why not use them for more than Sunday school?

Hey everybody, welcome to another edition of today's news. :)

I am glad that you feel better today.

The Halloween asteroid. I love it.

The Indians are on a roll.

You have to gradually acclimate to altitude, not try to do all that exercise before acclimating. Plus bring a compass.

Have a wonderful day, and may the Lord bless you.

Legality..can't run any school without a license.,and the state can inspect your curiculum and pull your license ,and force a child into public schools.a teacher in your idea must be able to deal with ahdh, ese, and also mentally challenged kids.

Can't just ignore those .private schools pick and choose, the public schools cant.never mind the kids who dont have enough food.I prefer your idea but I do things,I see things, the sheer amount of poverty I see locally is overwhelmimg.third world conditions .

Why do churches have service only on sunday. It has a spare 6 days a week its empty where it could school children.

I never understood that, all these church buildings just sitting empty all week. What a waste of space. I wonder what Jesus thinks about all these many churches in his name that just sit empty all week.

some don't. my church uses a public school cafeteria and its rooms for sunday school. others are simply too small do this. a lot of those I have photos of or plans to photo, as these are historic in that they are going back to nearly 100 years(early 20s, 10s and segragation

I know some churches cannot as you said, one guy I know goes to a small church in a tin shed thats rented. But, I mean there are the many regular average size churches that could use it for something.

Anyhow, when has the church ever looked after the church, I don't purpously try and shame the church but one small church is struggling and has to shut its doors why another church is covered in gold.

I guess its just human nature, each only looks after its own.

that also isn't cheap. my old church charge for from 1 to k to and it went up per age, 200 per week, much of that was child care but at age 3 they started teaching them names of things and biblical stuff, both in English and Spanish. its not cheap to pay for that . jaci attended this and the eoc paid for it, if not, it wouldn't have happened.

plenty of memories of getting jaci there and seeing her in a few plays. the best is when robin the dog visitied the church, and they were all afraid and jaci is like but its robin! she isn't bad. and tells monica that robin visitied the the playground. robin escaped from the car as jaci was dropped off and simply ran off and returned to the scene in a few hours and was captured by monica. one of my favorite stories to tell jaci as she doesn't remember that. she is 7 know and was three then. it was cute"but its Robin"

I call those fiefdoms and yes that is true.

The Amish get exemptions based on their religion. It can be done Jason. Voters can also vote in an inexpensive option in their states. Its not necessary for every little thing to cost megabucks. In this day and age, academic subjects can be done via the Internet. The church then teaches Bible.

Then why not have school ? The Amish predate america ,they are exempt from jury duty, and the draft that's why.

Again your missing the point .who will ensure that church education will be aceppted?

Lawsuits over creationism still aren't settled.my state only has only christian acre edited curriculum creator out of Pensacola.

My county has 6 or more private schools,2 private high schools.

Online courses will be paid by whom? Online learning isn't any cheaper then tradit ional colleges.

I will dig up the blacks who started, built a high school, elementary school on their dime.

In 1938. Gave to the school board later on,property still used.in fact I went there.buildings not the same. But they did it and supported the teachers.not all people can not work and have free stuff given to them.

Thus my point paid

There's another way,a coworker a few friends do it.homeschool.again. a parent must be able not work and have needs met ,it's not free in that sense .

A single parent, parents on tanf can't afford that option.a church like my old would use tax dollars ,but my state has ruled no public funds for religious schools.

https://fox8.com/2018/10/01/video-s...loyee-dumping-water-on-sleeping-homeless-man/
