In Today's News

Manhattan Transfer is a GREAT group, possibly the best vocals ever. They did a whole album of bebop (impossibly fast jazz) with the instrumental solos all having words. Not Christian, although they did the song "Operator" which is a great Gospel / Spiritual creation. They did a different version of many popular songs, including Birdland.

Their quintessential song is A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square; very slow, incredibly difficult to sing as well as they do!
 
Happy Easter everybody and welcome to another edition of today's news. I hope that you all enjoyed your Easter candy this morning and that your children were able to find their Easter baskets and all of the Easter eggs that the Easter bunny hid. And since we always want to remember the true meaning behind this holiday, once again there will be a Bible verse at the end of today's news report to commemorate our risen Savior.

That's what I originally thought too, and I love Justin Timberlake with a passion, but with all due respect I do believe that you both are wrong. There is only one true king here, and He is the one who has risen. Happy Easter!!! LONG LIVE THE KING!!!! :cross
 
Lol, glad you caught that. Notice I spelled King with a lower case k, specifically for that reason.

Anyway kinda similar to the 60 year old man who got jumped in your news story, Elvis stopped such a beat down from ever starting at a gas station not too far from here. He studied martial arts and wasn't fooling around. That's what it would take in a situation like this; had the old man been armed he wouldn't have been able to get to it in time. Sad

You're always supposed to love Muslims. Just not love, support, or follow their religion of Islam. There is a difference. Muslims are people just like everybody else, and although you can't trust the majority of them, they're not all like that. Trust me, I know a few of them myself and they are really very nice actually.
