First of all in tonight's news, the Georgia mayor has decided to really crack down on sex offenders this Halloween. (and I really think that it's a good idea btw it helps keeps the kids safe :thumbsup)

And a Cleveland man wound up shooting a landscaper this afternoon after getting into an argument with the man who lived next-door. Here's more of the details.

And an Indiana woman was charged after three young siblings were killed and another child was seriously injured after being hit by a bus this morning. Here's more of the information.

And also a seventeen year old boy was arrested and charged with the murder of a sixteen year old boy earlier this month. Here's more of the details.

Also because of a creative idea of a seven year old little girl, one town in New York will change its name one day each year for Halloween. Here's more on the story. :biggrin

And also apparently there might be a date change to Halloween but it looks like it's only the celebration of it. (I think which is understandable because some places have trick-or-treat on a weekend day anyway)

Its safer for people to take their children to a church run event on Halloween. Its not safe to demand candy from strangers in this day and age.

A fight club for 5 year old children. Are they insane?

Changing the date to the weekend, so parents don't have to work the next day, might be a good idea. Make it easier for parents to take their children to a church sponsored event. A safe place.

You mean like a Halloween church sponsored event? I say that as long as it's people you know in the neighborhood that kids are pretty safe and should have some fun dressing up and trick-or-treating but that's only just my opinion. I totally agree with what you say about the fight club though that's totally insane and irresponsible! :angry3

Usually a parent or guardian goes with them so it's safer.
