INDIVIDUALS VS THE MAJORITY

Today we hear the voice of God by not hardening our hearts, to not fall into all of those same examples of unbelief....

Hebrews 4:7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.
8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

9) AND NOW THE REALLY BEST FOR THE END :

- Adam rejects the fault on Eve but he decided to eat the fruit !

- He took the decision to disobey God !

- And he had received the command directly from God !

- So he had no excuse !

Biblehub Genesis 3:12

So now it is the time as exhorted, to awake out of sleep, as the salvation is nearer then when we believed.

Now is the time to provoke to good works, not to say it is too late, that would be as the serpent advising to hear man and not hear God in His Word.

We see the day approaching, so exhorting one another so much the more is required, nothing else is..

Romans 13:11 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.
12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light.
13 Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying.
14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.

Hebrews 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Adam received the same death, but a difference was set out for what happened, and Adam wewas therefore not in the transgression, so that Eve has no authority over him.

1 Timothy 2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.
13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.

1 Timothy 2:14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

10) As a consequence man lost perfection and started to die !

- And man keeps following Adam’s path !

- He never learns !

- And he is in big troubles !

- And more troubles are ahead !

- And he won’t escape !

- And the devil proved to be a liar and keeps proving to be a liar !

Perfection never came yet till Christ came to us..

1 Corinthians 13:10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.

Hebrews 7:19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

Hebrews 9:11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

Adams path was before perfection had come, as the bringing in of the better hope of Christ is our perfection..

1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

All of these scriptures then we see are given by God for answers against thew devil, speaking at the end time now, of this world.

Everybody should learn them right away, as I wont be answering here for very long.

So now it is the time as exhorted, to awake out of sleep, as the salvation is nearer then when we believed.

Its good you can tell the first half of the story, so I can remind us of the conclusion that God has shared.

Eve used no free will, she was beguiled by the devil, instead of knowing simplicity is only in Jesus Christ. ( God)

2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

So Eve did not decide by herself to go away from God, as she had no wisdom to do that with, hance relying only on the deceiving tongue of the serpents subtlty.

Neither could Eve desire wisdom, as there was no wisdom to be found, the devil was only deceiving them.

God judges among the gods( to be as gods knowing good and evil)

They are unjust, and do no justice.

God sums them all up asknowing not, no understanding, and being in darkness, and to be gods, ( knowing good and evil as Adam and Eve) but to die like men.

Then God arose to judge the earth through Jesus Christ on earth..

Psalm 82:1 God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among the gods.
2 How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
3 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.
4 Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.
5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course.
6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
8 Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
- Read carefully Genesis 3:2,3: first she answers correctly the devil!

- Who looks at the fruit!

- Who sees something good to eat!

- Who sees something good to see!

- Who sees it as something desirable to get wisdom!

- It's a process!

- Same for Adam!

- Same for any human being when he knows something is wrong but finally he does it!

- Same for the angels when they go down and get married with women and became demons!

- Man is not a child!

- Deceit is one thing!

- If you let it go into your brain then you do it the wrong way!

- When you are alone and you know there is something you will never do!

- But when you become part of a group and you do it, you are responsible!

- Lot was told to go away from Sodoma and Gomora!

- If he hadn't fled, he would have died!

- His wife was more interested with what she left and she disobeyed and turned back and died!

- it's a choice!

- Eve and Adam rejected their mistakes on somebody else!

- And they were perfect!

- The majority always does the same!

- the majority doesn't listen to the warnings!

- And the Bible is full of examples!

- It has always been so, same with the Israelites!

- But individuals can use their free will to get away from the way of the majority!

- It is probably not easy!

- But faithful servants of God did it!

- Of course not many, but some, that's what is important!

- And some will do it again before it's too late!

Eve did not think, oh I can be God now.

Eve, as written, saw that the tree can make her wise ( knowing good and evil as gods, but not creating as being God)

Genesis 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
- Of course not!

- Look at Genesis 3:5!

- The devil said it you will be like God!

- And he added: knowing good and evil!

- He didn't say you will be God!

- And he connected it with knowing good and evil!

- She would become independent from God and away from him!

- Opposing his will!

- And thus doing evil!

Hebrews 9:11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;
- Not at all!

- God's creation is perfect!

- Be careful to what you say!

- Perfection is one thing, free will another one!

- If Adam and Eve hadn't opposed God, they would have lived forever and not only 930 years which is far more than us!

JOSHUA

JOSHUA CHAPTER 1

- Moses has died!

- Now Joshua is the new leader of Israel!

JOSHUA CHAPTER 2

- Joshua sends 2 spies to the city of Jericho!

- And they enter into the house of the prostitute Rahab!

- So the king of the city sends men to get the two spies!

- And she hides them saying they have gone away!

- In exchange she asks for protection for her and her family when Israel attacks the city!

- But she must tie a cord of scarlet thread in a window so the israelites will protect her!

JOSHUA CHAPTER 6

- Then Jericho is destroyed and with all its inhabitants except Rahab and her family!

- And Joshua becomes famous!

JOSHUA CHAPTER 7

- It doesn’t matter who the leader is, the Israelites as a people are a catastrophe!

- It is in their DNA!

- It is like evil inside!

- But once again mankind is not better!

- Some individuals are incredible!

- But the majority is a shame to humanity!

- People can blame the devil but people can only blame themselves!

- Adam and Eve are the worst examples of humanity because they were perfect!

- And Adam is the worst because he chose to follow Eve being afraid of losing her!

- It also shows how they were one!

- But Adam acted selfishly because he didn’t think about his descendants!

- Because of him they would have to walk in the “desert” like the Israelites who paid for their errors!

JOSHUA

CHAPTER 7

- The Israelites don’t obey regarding what they were supposed to destroy about Jericho!

- God is angry against them!

- After Jericho, the Israelites are supposed to attack the city of Ai!

- But the Israelites are defeated!

- Joshua rips his garments and falls with his face to the ground!

- And god tells Joshua that the israelites have sinned against him!

- They have violated God’s covenant!

- They have taken some of what was devoted to destruction, stealing it and secretly putting it among their own possessions!

- If they don’t destroy what was devoted to destruction, they won’t be able to stand against their enemies!

- And Achan took an official garment and money and he hid everything inside his tent!

- Think of that the people had to pay for one man!

- It is the same with humanity having to pay because of Adam!

- Now think about today and all the corruption because of man’s tradition vs God’s word!

- And it is not because of one man but because of the majority like in the case of the Israelites through all their history!

JOSHUA

CHAPTER 7

- Finally Achan is stoned!

CHAPTER 8

- Then the Israelites go against the city of Ai another time and destroy it completely!

- After that Joshua writes a copy of the Law of Moses!

- And he reads aloud all the words of the Law to Israel!

CHAPTER 9

- Then many kings form an alliance to fight against Joshua and Israel!

JOSHUA

CHAPTER 9

- Once again we have an interesting example!

- Most of the kings unite to fight Israel!

- But the inhabitants of Gibeon organize themselves to make an agreement with Israel!

- They send people explaining they come from a distant land with everything worn-out to prove their sayings!

- And even here the people of Israel are equal to themselves that is good to nothing, they look at the provisions but they don’t inquire of God!

- Once again man’s tradition vs God’s word!

- So Joshua makes peace with them and also a covenant!

- After three days they realize they are their neighbors!

- How stupid they are!

- So the Gibeonites will become gatherers of wood and water for Israel!

- So here we have a good example of a minority being more intelligent than the majority (the other kings of the area and the Israelites themselves)!

JOSHUA

CHAPTER 10

- The king of Jerusalem asks forv the help of other kings to fight against Gibeon because they have made peace with Israel!

- Then Gibeon asks for help from Israel!

- God tells Joshua not to be afraid because he has given all these kings in the hands of Israel!

- And not one will be able to fight against Israel!

- And God throws them into confusion so israel is able to defeat them!

- When they are fleeing from Israel, God hurls great hailstones from the sky on them and they perish!

- In fact, more die from the hail than from the sword of the Israelites!

- On that occasion, the sun stands still for a whole day so israel can take vengeance on his enemies!

- Then the five kings flee and hide in a cave!

- Then Joshua tells some men to close the entrance of the cave with stones!

- then Joshua kills the five kings to show all Israel that it is what is going to happen to all the enemies of Israel!

- So Israel must be courageous!

- And Joshua and Israel keep striking all the cities of the region and destroying everything to destruction!
