Its a bit more then that. trust me when i say ruin I mean level forests and so forth, while interesting in a historical context, there is much beauty here that is forever gone. men, we want to create a tropical paridise and force mother earth to give us such. this applies to Hawaii as well.

but there's all Chinese folk there.

People go on vacation somewhere and like it...
so they move there and then want to change it to their idealogy.

A couple we knew many years ago moved to North Carolina because they loved
it because it was laid back.

After they moved there, they kept complaining that everything went too slow.

Yes, I seem to know about the Hamptons.
And the Boroughs sounds familiar too.
I do believe there are five:
BRONX
MANHATTAN
BROOKLYN
QUEENS
STATEN ISLAND

But what do I know?

BTW,,,my home turf was Whitestone.
And I grew up in Astoria.

Been to Florida at least twice, can't remember.
I could imagine how it used to be. Unique.
But I do think the intracoastal areas are beautiful.
No place like that over here. No place like Whitestone
over here. Italy is naturally beautiful, but the neighborhoods
leave much to be desired. I'm in a good place here,,,thankfully
