Is it a sin to smoke weed?

You appear to be condoning for medical reasons. Good! Most of us don't see this as a problem. The problem arises out of it's misuse and the propensity it presents for otherwise law abiding Christians to break laws in order to use it in a recreational way.

Now when we take God's word as a whole and not single out specific verses out of context, we paint a much broader and accurate picture. We are to be wise and walk in the council of God; we are not to be slothful, which weed will do to one if one smokes too much; we are not to serve two masters... weed can become a very physiologically addictive drug; we are to always be sober-minded... tough to do when under the influence of weed. ...and we could go on and on from here.

Proof texting doesn't prove much to me in light of the whole of HIS Word.

Plus, I didn't even go into medical complications it may cause.

Listen, I'm 52, I started in 1973. I quit a few years ago. Why? It was beginning to hurt my prayer life. I could no longer concentrate on praying like I should. It also began to conflict with my overall walk. I began to feel convicted by the Spirit to end this once and for all and I did!

It is not conducive to the Christian life. No mind altering substance is ever conducive to worshiping our God who expects more than that from HIS followers.

great testimony, i see no problem with medical marijuana,but good gave us as a medicine not a drug to be abused, Lithuim that helps with depression is a natural occuring substance, and if you take it in its pure form its an explosive, i've seen how reactive LI is. Blows up instantaneuosly upon contact with water.

Unless its for medical use,,,,,yes,,,,,we must obet the health laws friend,,,and if you want to dive into it a little furhter then look up the word sorcerer,,,,,I no I no you probably think this word comes from witchcraft and stuff like that right?????nope

yes i get a kick out that as well, but we also get the word pornography from the greek pornion, meaning fornication. I don't think the Lord condones drug abuse, lets not attempt to justify the use of any drugs at all as in ancient greek days socery also used mind altering drugs in order to induce a siance and suchlike

I think weed is good for people with serious eating disorders (some people everyones different),,,,it has been proven to help,,,,but for the majority well its a quick way out of reality........
