Is Jesus really God ?

Then how could Jesus be God? Man was created. Jesus was fully man, according to you. Now you say no created thing can ever be called God, but at the same time you say the man was God.
 
why do some want to know if jesus is god? is he in power then?
i know i control my own life and am made out of material too..
but my name is not jesus.

i was wondering who has it forth to say?

not sent by men or god himself maybe it was just the sun or a star. but i am human as much as i could be. i'd say for me the last.

wether you keep on wondering who is, god or jesus. i carrie on being me'!:waving:D

I have clearly stated that Jesus is the God-man, truly God and truly man. This is what Scripture reveals.

Are all these saviours God too?

If you allow Holy Spirit to teach you instead of your own mind, which leads astray into flights of fancy, you will know that these are human saviours (small 's'), saving His people from death at the hands of enemy armies.

Jesus is the Son of God, our Saviour from sin, and the hand of the enemy of our souls, Satan.

And as far as I am concerned, these kinds of arguments reveal a true poverty of spiritual integrity. If you truly knew Jesus as your personal Saviour, you wouldn't be holding debate about His deity.

These arguments you present show a very poor sense of logic and common sense.

Don't you know that there were no capital letters in the Hebrew? And the major greek manuscripts were ALL in capitals?

No, I didn't think so.

Oh, please excuse the scholars who translated scripture for their poor understanding! They have led me down the garden path again! :thud:

What is your excuse then, for equating earthly saviours with Jesus the Saviour of mankind from the penalty of sin? Is that it?

Ge 23:7 And Abraham stood up, and bowed <07812> himself to the people of the land, even to the children of Heth.
Ge 23:12 And Abraham bowed down <07812> himself before the people of the land.

07812 = worship. Look it up and see.

I'm doing no such thing.

I am merely showing you that someone being called 'saviour' does not necessarily mean that he/she is God.

That goes without saying. However, Jesus is our Saviour and Lord. It has been shown to you the difference. It is obvious even to a blind man.

Thats a way of denial of Christ..To say that He is not God with all the scripture I have shown in this thread..
 
Hey people, 47 pages and no one has budged and nothing has been resolved.

This topic has clearly run it's course. It did start off nice though. :yes
