Bible Study Is Michael Another Name For Jesus?

Churchianity teaches the Trinity/Deity of Christ as they believe Jesus is 1/3 God and do not believe Jesus ever died- but was alive al the time.

Angels are essentially “ministering spirits,” (Hebrews 1:14) and do not have physical bodies like humans. Jesus declared that “a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have” (Luke 24:37-39).

The Bible classifies some angels as “elect” (1 Timothy 5:21) or “holy” (Matthew 25:31; Mark 8:38). All angels were created to be holy, enjoying the presence of God (Matthew 18:10) and the beauty of heaven (Mark 13:32).

Angels have no gender (Matthew 22:30) and are innumerable (Hebrews 12:22). They are incarnate in human form at times (Genesis 18:2-8) for the purpose of ministry. Angels also express emotions (Luke 15:10), are wise (2 Samuel 14:20) and powerful (Psalms 103:20).

No, I have not read that. In my mind though it is JW and Seventh Day Adventist that think Michael is Jesus. There is no proof in the scriptures they give that I can see in that of what you posted. I will go click on that article and read it.

Yes, I have read that article in got questions. In my mind though it is JW and Seventh Day Adventist that think Michael is Jesus.

Rev 8:2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.

By name these seven angels are said to be Gabriel, Jeremiel, Michael, Raguel, Raphael, Sariel, and Uriel.

In the book of Enoch there is mention of Uriel, Raphael, Raguel, Michael, Sariel, Phanuel, and Gabriel

I never really gave it much thought until I saw your thread.

But you used the wrong word; it's Churchianity.
Whatever, but you and I are getting off topic so let us both get back to the topic of the OP.

BTW, I just want to say it doesn't matter if you are JW, but expect others to not agree with their doctrines.

Did you know that we have not been affiliated with either group, this is what made me think of the OP, while I was reading also an article titled Who Is Michael, The Archangel?

Getting off topic? What in the world do you think the Threads ABOUT????
YOU are the one getting off topic.
This thread is not about the Trinity which both of us were derailing as this thread about Michael being another name for Jesus. Just trying to bring it back to the OP before both of us got out of hand going into a different topic.

Sorry been so busy running around lately. I need a Calgon moment :cries

I can't warrant that view, even by all those scriptures, that Michael is another name for Jesus or that He and Michael are the same. I see the word prince as only Michael being the archangel as being overseer of all the angels. All angels are God's messengers with Michael being the chiefess.
