Star Wars is one of the greatest stories ever told or invisioned, I personally think that is may have been a gift from Jesus in a possible vission given to George Lucas, a story a wonderful, and creative as Star Wars could not have possibly been formed by one man. Star Wars is Not!!!!!!!!!, a tool of the devil, the mere thought of that trully sickens me. I love the Lord Jesus Christ more than anything in my life, I hold Jesus higher than anything in my life, followed by my soon to be wife, and thats the way it should be. My parents are very strong christians as well, and my father showed me the first Star Wars movie to me when I was very little it is the first full movie I remember sitting down and watching, I love Star Wars so much, and I'm still a christian, People do not worship Yoda, that is rediculous. You may have seen children pretend to do something like that, but you need to realize, these are the same children who eat playdo, think there going to mars in an hour and have an imaginary friend named george. Any adult who looks at the story with an open mind, and heart will realize not only is it not a tool of the devil, but that it has many strong christian undertones. My guese is that the people who started this, are middle aged, closed minded, who have never really taken a hard look at Star Wars. The light side of the force in some ways I believe is ment to parallel God and his power. Listen to the way Obi-Wan Kenobi talks about the force. When Yoda talks to Obi-Wan about talking to Qui-Gon(who has been dead for many years), he does not mean it in a sorcerus or demonic way at all. In the story of Star Wars Jedi who have passed into the so-called netherworld of the force, can come back to advize and watch over the Jedi of the present day. Step back, take a breath, and realize this is just a story, realize that in this story there is no such thing as Heaven or hell, ovcourse comunication with the dead is not possible, or right, but it is not meant in that way, its just part of the story. There is a book called "Christian Wisdom of the Jedi Masters" everyone shoul really read it, it is written by a well acclaimed christian author. It speeks of the many similarities between the Jedi and christianity. If you want to go after something movie wise, please go after harry potter, its evil is corrupting the minds of millions of children before they even reallize the choice between good or evil, most of these children have not even reached the age of accountability, and they now have a sugar coated version of witch craft and wicka, which both are very real threats to christianity, and our peacful way of life. Star Wars teaches faith in the Unseen, and the real life comparrison being faith in Jesus Christ the Lord, who we can not see with our eye's. I strongly suggest that whoever wrote the original coment go back and with a open mind watch the Star Wars movies, and I think that you will realize how wrong you trully are. Jesus teaches love anyway to attack anything like you have is wrong and you know it. Jesus be with us all. God bless.[/u][/b]
