If chuwg (Strong's H2328 and H2329) means "sphere," why does nearly every translation render it as "circle"? What are you using for a lexicon to come to this meaning?

It seems to very much mean "circle," but it doesn't really matter since the Bible doesn't say whether the earth is flat or round.

Thank you reba, I joined many moons ago, but have been real busy at work and not much 'puter time.

I used to try and over theoligize people with my wisdom, the Lord showed me to stop and just show them by my life, how Jesus is alive inside of me, and uses my body to show His love to the lost and needy, ...I have come to see and learn that is true evangelism, rubbing elbows with the people just like my Lord did when He walked this round planet, it causes them to ask the question, why are you so different from those others Christians that go to such and such church? That way we have prepared the ground (heart) to receive the seed (Word)

When I was a rank pagan I could spot hypocrisy way before those in the church did, ...a truth/reality that many believers today need to take to heart.

I know we're not supposed to espouse different religions here, but I think the earth is a big smilie that we all live on and when it's your turn to die it opens it's mouth and you fall in and die.
