Contrary to the prevalent false teachings that faith is an condition one must meet in order to get saved
So unbelief is a condition one must meet to be saved?

Jesus said it also !
Jesus Christ states that Faith in Him is a Gift of God, when He said this Jn 6:65
And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me [That is Believe in me], except it[Believing] were given unto him of my Father.
Believing in Christ for Salvation is special gift of the abundance of God's Grace as Paul states that it was his experience 1 Tim 1:14
14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
And it is of the Operation of the Spirit, or the Fruit of His Producing Gal 5:22
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
The word fruit means :
that which originates or comes from something, an effect, result
The result of the Spirit [working in us] is Love and Faith
It is of His Producing in the new heart of man !
For faith is the fruit and effect of Electing Grace, and so it is called the Faith of God's Elect Titus 1:1
Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;
And so Paul Teaches Eph 2:8-9
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Rom 11:5-6
5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then it is no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
Now if we do not Believe Jesus that Faith in Him is a Gift given, then we are unbelievers and lack faith in Christ !
Faith is a gift of God only in the sense that God grants man or gives man the
opportunity to have faith.
Re: Justified by the faith of Jesus Christ. This is 1/2 truth whith is flawed without the CONDITIONAL Provision of Obedience. Rom. 8:1 finds one IN THE FAITH OF CHRIST.
Rom. 8
[1] There is therefor now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
...
[14] For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
And THE 'ONE' FAITH?? It is found in Eph. 4:5 as only being one. Not dozen's of false teachings such as this one.
Eph. 4
[4] There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one [[hope]] of your calling;
[5] One Lord, one faith, one baptism, (not having faith, but being IN CHRIST'S ONE VIRGIN FAITH, see Isa. 5)
--Elijah
I've noticed there seems to be some confusion about whether we're justified before God by our faith or the faith of Christ. The translators of many Bibles took the liberty of changing the words "faith of Jesus Christ" to "faith in Jesus Christ" sometime in the early 19th Century. Even though the Greek confirms this, as I will show later, and was used correctly in other instances, such as the "hand of God" and the "faith of Abraham", the references to the faith of Christ was changed in many translations to faith in Christ. Tyndales, the Great Bible, Young's, and the KJV, all kept it in it's correct form, but most of the new translations adopted this practice of changing the "of" to "in". I submit it greatly affects the truth of what the Word says about how we're justified. I'll post on the Greek translations in a bit, but I'd be interested in hearing your views on this very important point of doctrine.
So, let's look first at some verses that aren't affected by a difference in translations.
We see that Jesus is the author and finisher (or perfecter) of our faith.
Some may wonder why Jesus needs faith to begin with, or if He even has faith of His own, since being justified by the faith of Christ would require that He did.

False teaching , show us a verse that states this !
Rom 10:17 faith comes by hearing, hearing by the word of God. By God gving His word to man, it gave man the opportunity to excercise his free will to have faith based upon that word or not. The false notion is that only God controls who has faith and who does not. In this case if one did not have faith it is God's fault and failure.
Faith and Repentance !
Acts 20:21
Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.
Both Faith and Repentance are Two of the good works that the New Creation Eph 2:10 has been ordained to walk in, and what God Himself has ordained, and He causes us[The New Creature] to do them Ezk 36:26-27
26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
Now in verse 26 and 27a we have God describing the New Birth, following are its fruits, doing what is commanded as Faith and Repentance. When the New Creature with the New Spirit and the Heart of Flesh is commanded to Repent and to Believe in Christ, it does it, God causes them to do it ! They doing them is fruit or evidence of having been given the New Birth of vs 26-27a or as stated in Eph 2:10 being made God's Workmanship !

So The Spirit must reveal Christ in us in order to believe in Him !
The false notion is that only God controls who has faith and who does not. In this case if one did not have faith it is God's fault and failure.
if one reads and studies non reformational theology this problem never arises. That Christ was the pioneer,(author) and perfector of faith, is why we can use Him as our model and example. We are called to exemplfy His faith, constant, unfaltering, enduring to the end. For Him to the Cross, for us to salvation.Actually the NIV and NASB translate that as;
NIV: fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith.From these two perspectives, the message is quite different than what you assert, don't you think?
NASB: fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith.
