Just curious, how does it deal with the sin issue? It has come to my attention that there is a new religion out there called "The Universe". Amazingly, it solves many of the problems I have with Christianity.
That's the best part. There is none!Just curious, how does it deal with the sin issue?
Some ice cold lemonade.Right.
Too hot for any sinning.
People just lay around all day drinking lots cool water.
And wishing it won't get any hotter....
I kind of suspected that. That's why I asked. That's the best part. There is none!
Is there a PUNishment involved if one breaks that rule?No pun intended.
Those aren't allowed.
No. The sun issue is the only bright spot in that religion.Did you mean the sun issue?
Oh, like Sicily.People just lay around all day drinking lots cool water.
And wishing it won't get any hotter....
Praise be. Lol.No. The sun issue is the only bright spot in that religion.
Yes.Is there a PUNishment involved if one breaks that rule?
I always heard they sell pizza at the leaning tower of Pisa.Oh no.
There's plenty of sinning down there.
That's where the ..... is located.
But, of course, it doesn't really exist.
It's just a rumor.
Just don't offend anyone while you're there.
*smiles* ... my guess is before John 20:22 ... the process changes after Christ death as I understand it. Jesus has to leave earth and 40 (or was it 50... I don't recall) days later the Spirit 'takes Christ place' so to speak. There is some verse about Christ saying it is better that He leaves otherwise the Spirit can't come.... I'm too lazy to look it up.Were the disciples born again in John 20:22 or Acts 2:4?
I don't know anyone that casts God into human patterns. That's why we have scripture. Granted, the finite cannot understand the infinite, but scripture gives us some glimpse of truth as opposed to the uninformed thoughts of depraved creatures who cast God into human patterns.
The point is there is a difference between simply having the Spirit in you in salvation and having it in you in overflow, power, and abundance. The latter doesn't just happen because you are born again. You have to purposely seek that overflow. Few do, mostly because few know about it. And those who do know about it reject in unbelief. That's why the church is joyless, depressed, and powerless.*smiles* ... my guess is before John 20:22 ... the process changes after Christ death as I understand it. .... I don't know what point you are trying to make so my answer may not have addressed your question or the intent of your question.
Are you talking about speaking in tongues? The point is there is a difference between simply having the Spirit in you in salvation and having it in you in overflow, power, and abundance.
