Any discussion of end times, without the distinction between the Israel of God and the church of God.. will be constantly confusing the two.. Or most likely taking portions of scripture like Matt 24 and applying its teaching to the church of God.
Well, if that's the case, let's hope that we're not all in Judaea and that it doesn't happen on the sabbath.
You mean like this..
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: for this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
And I can't imagine this text being taken other than literally
This is a significant problem within the body of Christ today, ignoring the mystery pertaining to Israel.
Salvation by the blood in ones veins? or salvation by the shed Blood of Jesus?
And I can't imagine this text being taken other than literally
Yes, it must be taken literally. Many do not take it literally. Who does PAUL say Israel is? Who does PAUL say is the Seed of Abraham?
Paul, explained this. So why do some not that PAUL'S other words literally?
Most Christians do not understand the distinctions between Israel and the Church

What is the distinction between Israel and the Church? Scripture please.
gr8grace:
Like you say, an importance interpretational principle in Scripture is the distinction between Israel and the church, and more broadly the idea of knowing who the passage in question is talking about.
It used to be said: 'All Scripture is for us; all Scripture is not about us'.
Blessings.
What makes it so difficult for some to see the simple truth that all Israel
shall be saved, that they're beloved, that they're the elect of God..
Salvation by the blood in ones veins? or salvation by the shed Blood of Jesus?
Salvation by the blood of Jesus. Likewise, the ark of the covenant was 2.5 cubits long. That's right. Now, let's get back to the subject of this thread.
