lest ye should be wise in your own conceits...

I've spoken on Israel on numerous occasions and even started a thread on it.. I S R A E L ...

I'm sorry, but it seems like each thread is about the same thing. So I don't understand or remember what you said in a previous thread.
This was I thought about Romans 11:25. I don't think one can take a verse and discuss that verse without the context.
Part of that context is the Olive Tree, and those cut off, those grafted in, those restored, and those that should not be conceited about being grafted in.

So my question, I think is very relevant. What are the Gentile believers be grafted into, that is my question.

Can you answer this question? What do you believe? Who/what does the Olive Tree represent to you? If you want me to understand why you say, what you say about v25, I would have to understand your context.

Here is the scripture for this thread and if you'd prefer a greater context, then Romans 9-11 would be the complete context with respect to the teaching of the Apostle to the Gentiles concerning Israel.

Feel free to share what this portion of scripture is speaking about, specifically the mystery which the Apostle to the Gentiles does not wish you to be ignorant of.

For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: for this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes. For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.

So, I'm sorry that you can't remember or understand what these threads are about because much of it is interesting and important.

Well, in all fairness, I just searched your threads again, listed in your profile. Searched those threads, couldn't find anything about the Olive Tree that you have posted. :dunno

That's ok, feel free to share whatever you would like concerning your own beliefs about the mystery, Israel, the olive tree... anything you would like to share.
