Looking for Job

84) Looking for Job

Job 10:

Do you have eyes of flesh,

Or do you see as mortal man does?

- Of course, God is not human!

- Of course, God has a different vision, a different mind!

- Of course, he is the creator!

- Of course, he understands perfectly his creation!

- WHATEVER HE DOES OR DOESN’T IS ON PURPOSE!

- EVERY ACTION FROM HIS PART IS BALANCED!

85) Looking for Job

Job 10:

Are your days like days of mortals,

Or are your years like those of a man,

- Yes, Job never forgets to speak about God’s nature!

- How unique he is!

- How nothing can be compared to him!

- How he has no beginning and no end which is difficult for us to understand because we have a beginning and an end!

- That’s also the Book of Job!

- Even if he is in bad conditions he never forget to speak his creator and about his quality!

- Not to forget it!

86) Looking for Job

Job 10:

That you should search out my error

And keep looking for my sin?

- Job thinks that because that’s the only thing he can think about!

- God is his only reference!

- He doesn’t know anything about the devil!

- He can’t communicate with God any more!

- So the only thing left for him is his bitterness and his complaint!

- Yes, he wants to speak and open his heart!

87) Looking for Job

Job 10

You know that I am not guilty;

And no one can save me from your hand.

- Job knows he hasn’t done anything wrong!

- That puts more stress on him!

- When your only reference is God, it is easy to understand Job’s anguish!

- And he can’t communicate with God any more!

- And the devil keeps looking for ways to destroy him and wins against God!

- And the devil never renounces!

- That’s why he sends these men to Job who are supposed to help him but, in fact, they do everything to put him in the pit!

- Thus the devil uses vicious attacks!

88) Looking for Job

Job 10

Your own hands have shaped me and made me,

But now you would completely destroy me.

- The devil must be laughing and thinking he is up to win!

- Well, he has been quite successful with a big part of humanity!

- And he always wants more!

- He only looks for his own interests!

- In fact, he and the demons only look for their own interests like the religious leaders!

- They don’t care about human beings!

- They are only a way to help them get what they want!

- And they want people to think that God does the same!

- In fact, what we see in the Book of Job can be extended to humanity!

- That’s the same!

- The devil plays a game, I would say a chess game and the pieces are human beings!

- A game for the devil and JUSTICE for God!

89) Looking for Job

Job 10

Remember, please, that you made me out of clay,

But now you make me return to dust.

- God creates man!

- But he didn’t make us like other creatures!

- We are the ones who have spiritual needs because God is our root like trees have roots and without them they can’t get vital elements!

- This world has cut itself from God that’s why it is crazy and going to the pit

- WE CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT OUR ROOTS!

- The devil makes Job believe he has lost his ROOT!

- DO YOU REALLY UNDERSTAND THAT!

- When we read what people say about the Book of Job, it shows they don’t understand that!

90) Looking for Job

Job 10 Did you not pour me out like milk

And curdle me like cheese?

- From milk to cheese: Job tells us that God built us!

- In fact, there is a big difference between MILK and CHEESE!

- Cheese is an elaborated product!

- And we are an elaborated product!

- And this society has turned into a really bad cheese!

- Hopefully, thanks to God and how he made us, there is still some good cheese!

- And Job will always be a really good one!

91) Looking for Job

Job 10

With skin and flesh you clothed me,

And with bones and sinews you wove me

together.

- God decided to make us special!

- And yet, look at what we have become!

- Look at that society which only knows war and violence and misery and selfishness!

- Job is full of respect for God’s creation!

- We can’t say the same with men!

92) Looking for Job

Job 10

You have given me life and loyal love;

You have guarded my spirit with your

care.

- Isn’t it incredible how Job speaks about God!

- He puts together life and loyal love!

“It's the kind of love that someone demonstrates when they're keeping a promise, and when the desire to be loyal to their promise motivates them to go above and beyond and be super generous, more than what you would expect—that's khesed.”2 nov. 2020

- “Life and Loyal love”: do we still know what it means? I doubt it considering what I see in this world when I get up every morning!

- Job knows what it means!

- Does it mean we are dead?

- And Job says that God has guarded his spirit with care: is that a father-son relationship?

- Is it possible to find better words?

- WOW! WOW! WOW!

93) Looking for Job

Job 10

But you secretly intended to do these things.

I know that these things are from you.

- And Job is sincere when he says that!

- Can you hear the devil’s laughs!

- Because everything is against God as Job only knows God!

- Think of today: do you hear the devil’s laughs when he listens to the people?

- Do you understand God’s pain in relation to Job’s feelings!

94) Looking for Job

Job 10

If I sinned, you would watch me,

And you would not acquit me of my error.

- Yes, God is watching!

- And God was watching Job and his pain and his sufferance!

- Don’t you think he was sharing it with Job!

- Now think about what God says to Job and only to him when he finally answers him: please listen to me or he invites him to listen to him!

- Isn’t it RESPECT from God’s part towards Job’s faithfulness which echoes that there is no one like him on earth!

- Now think about a special communication between God and Job!

- Now think about what we have to do to improve our communication with God!

95) Looking for Job

Job 10

If I am guilty, too bad for me!

And even if I am innocent, I cannot raise my

head,

For I am filled with dishonor and affliction.

- Think of Job’s feelings: dishonor and affliction!

- He can’t feel worse!

- He has lost his root!

- He is imploring God to answer him!

- In any case the situation is “too bad for me”!

- Do you really perceive Job’s dishonor and affliction?

- Do you see him in front of your eyes?

96) Looking for Job

Job 10

If I raise my head up, you hunt me like a

lion

And again show your power against me.

- Yes, but it is the devil and not God!

- Think about Job, God and the devil!

- The devil has nothing to lose because he is a liar so one more lie doesn’t make a big difference!

- God knows Job’s faithfulness and he wants to make it clear to all the angels!

- Job is completely lost because he doesn’t understand what’s on but he keeps his faithfulness that’s LOYAL LOVE to God!

97) Looking for Job

Job 10

You bring new witnesses against me

And increase you anger against me,

As hardship after hardship comes upon me.

- Yes, that’s what Job sees but he doesn’t know he speaks about the devil instead of God!

- It’s interesting to compare this situation to what may happens to us when we think wrong about people we care or love because we see with what we know but when what we know is wrong it may have very bad consequences so we must be careful about that!

- Thus we may avoid hurting our dear ones!

- It’s incredible to think when two essential elements miss the consequences it can produce!

- JOB ONLY HAS ONE REFERENCE: YAH.WEH!

- THE BOOK OF JOB SHOWS US ALL THE WEAPONS USED BY THE DEVIL!

- AND ONLY HIS WEAPONS!

- THIS IS A COMPLETELY UNBALANCED FIGHT!

- YAH.WEH CAN DO NOTHING TO DEFEND JOB!

- BECAUSE JOB’S LOYALTY IS AT STAKE

- JOB IS ALL ALONE FACING THE DEVIL!

- AND HE ONLY HAS ONE WEAPON: HIS LOYALTY!

- But even when we do not have these two elements, the words of Yahweh concerning Job should allow us to understand Job's attitude!

- THERE IS NO ONE LIKE HIM ON EARTH! - It is probably because fidelity to Yah.weh is something extremely rare that we can allow ourselves to criticize Job!

- Normally it should be the opposite!

- He should be an example of loyalty to all of us!

- But if Yah.weh does not do it, what right can we afford to do it?

- Nowhere in the Bible we find a faithful man who makes sacrifices taking into account the possibility of his children speaking evil of Yah.weh in their hearts!

- NOWHERE!

- How is it possible to criticize him?

- Is this unforgivable?

- Such ignorance is beyond me!

- Especially when it is widespread!

- When infidelity is the rule everywhere, we seek to condemn fidelity!

- Find the error!

1) Job - comparing faithfulness to Yah.weh

- When the story of Job starts in the book of Job, Job is an old man!
- There” is no one like him on earth!
- His faithfulness is established!
- He has nothing to prove to Yah.weh!
- And Yah.weh is his only judge!
- No one else!
- There is nothing more important than his relationship to Yah.weh!
- it is like breathing, drinking and eating!
- If we want to understand Job’s faithfulness, we need to feel his relationship to Yah.weh!
- I should say smell it!
- Each drop of perspiration!

Do you think anyone sees your comparison today, in this about Job and on what you have began to speak about Samuel. How you said Samuel was not yet born, and how you say Job was an old man ?

Its like the beginning of any story book in the world, that speaks some interest in the story they are trying to make interesting for people to read their book.

Job of course is not who shows the way to the Father, which is through HIs only Son Jesus Christ.

Job had patience in all that was put on him, but Job did not hold his tongue.

Job 32:2 Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.

Job 33:8 Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of thy words, saying,
9 I am clean without transgression, I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me.

Job 33:12 Behold, in this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man.

Job 33:27 He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;
28 He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.

Job 34:5 For Job hath said, I am righteous: and God hath taken away my judgment.
6 Should I lie against my right? my wound is incurable without transgression.
7 What man is like Job, who drinketh up scorning like water?
8 Which goeth in company with the workers of iniquity, and walketh with wicked men.
9 For he hath said, It profiteth a man nothing that he should delight himself with God.

Job 35:2 Thinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than God's?
3 For thou saidst, What advantage will it be unto thee? and, What profit shall I have, if I be cleansed from my sin?

Job 35:16 Therefore doth Job open his mouth in vain; he multiplieth words without knowledge.

Job 36:21 Take heed, regard not iniquity: for this hast thou chosen rather than affliction.

Job 37:14 Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.

Job 37:24 Men do therefore fear him: he respecteth not any that are wise of heart.

Job 38:1 Then the Lord answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
2 Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?

Job 40:2 Shall he that contendeth with the Almighty instruct him? he that reproveth God, let him answer it.
3 Then Job answered the Lord, and said,
4 Behold, I am vile; what shall I answer thee? I will lay mine hand upon my mouth.

Now we understand there is faithfulness where it is shown, not where it is claimed.

The moderator ( who should look to see if these threads are speaking against Jesus Christ) can easily see that Hebrews shows how Moses was faithful in all his house to God who appointed him, BUT CHRIST, as the Son is over HIS OWN HOUSE, whose house WE ARE, for Christ to be the merciful and FAITHFUL High Priest to make RECONCILIATION FOR THE PEOPLE.

Jesus Christ is the faithful witness, that first begotten of the dead, who loved us to wash us from our sins in HIS OWN BLOOD.

Hebrews 2:17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

Hebrews 3:5 And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;
6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

Job is not faithfulness, Job is endurance, because for all those who endure the Lord is pitiful and of tender mercy.

Faithfulness is in the Son who did always what pleased the Father, why would faithfulness be in what is less than Jesus Christ.

Moderator or anyone, read these verses for comparison and understanding, that Jesus Christ not speaking as any other man to speak against God in any word, or do against God in any way, pleases the Father, and giving HIs life for us is what glorified the Lord to forgive us and to redeem us for ever. ( the only true faithfulness the world needs to believe in and know about.)

Matthew 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Matthew 12:18 Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.

Matthew 17:5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.

John 8:29 And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.

John 12:27 Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.
28 Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.
29 The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.
30 Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.
31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

James 5:11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.
