Luke 16:19-31 - Prophecy or No

Free, I am addressing this now, so let's start over. I am addressing torment and flame in Luke 16. Why are these written in Luke 16:19-31. You can ignore these words, but they won't go away.
So now you want to start over on your terms? "Torment" and "flames" have very little, if anything, to do with this discussion.

Do you notice that you didn't answer anything, again? Instead you again deflected, and this after you stated: "What is asked of me????????? PLEASE TELL ME AND I WILL ANSWER!!!"

So what more is there that can be done? You told me to tell you what was asked of you and you would answer, so I did, and you didn't answer. And that has been a significant problem in every discussion I've had with you.

Whether Jesus is telling a parable, or if Jesus is talking about what happened to a real live rich man, the rich man finds himself in a place of torment. He can see Abraham and Lazarus off in the distance. Abraham explains that nothing can pass between them, besides the obvious fact that sound can, since the two are having a conversation.

If you first assume that it is a parable, there is no need to get technical and try to scientifically dissect every little detail about the story.

Questioning if it's a parable is not the argument, it's clearly talking about what happens after they died because scripture is telling us the begger and the rich man died.

It has everything to do with this discussion, it's unfortunate you don't see that. There's nothing I can do about your spiritual senses. Think afterlife Free.

Free, if you were really concerned about what is asked of me, you would try to get my attention with a little more effort.

Let me tell you a short story. "There was once a rich man who was walking around on Antarctica, and he was wearing no clothes. He was very cold."

Now, this story could be true, or it could be a parable. I admit, if it is a parable, the lesson learned would only be, "If you walk around on Antarctica with no clothes, you will be very cold." But one thing is clear. This is not a prophecy that you will find yourself on Antarctica walking around with no clothes. Sure, the story could be true, and if you did do that, you would no doubt experience that. I am not a prophet, and my story contains the same amount of prophecy(none) that is found in the story of Lazarus and the Rich Man, whether it is historical or just a parable.

I think this thread has gone far enough.
