The law has "helped" mankind in exactly the way it was intended. It shows the righteousness, holiness, and justness of God. And on the flip side it shows man's total depravity.

Without the law it would be conceivable of man to think he could be good enough for God. With it, we know we are not. Therefore, without the law mankind would have no hope.

I believe the Law is good, but man can't hold it so its against us. Only Christ could fulfill it perfectly and be the perfect servant.

And Scripture says the Law was against us and Christ blotted out the ordinances that were against us, and the principalities behind the Law, nailing it to his cross.

So God gave Christ judgement seat and Christ cannot Judge any man for there sin. There is no sin to be judged on, he took away the worlds sin.

What I mean by the law has not helped mankind is that is has not stopped anyone from breaking it. Society is full of law breakers. For everything thats a Law there is always law breakers. It doesn't solve the problem.

Christ saved the whole world. We can stand there judging others thinking were righteous and others are sinners but that would just be exactly the same as the hypocrites. All the world does is judge others based on a law. The world is in full conflict based on mans laws. Why did everyone have to bow down to the King of Babylons Statue, because it was his law.

Even the scriptures multiple times says Christ took away not only ours, but the sins of the entire world Jews and Gentiles. Go look at the multitude from all nations, peoples, languages, so big no man could number giving praise to God.

Where do my teachings come from?, the scriptures because thats what they say.

People only perish because they love not the truth in this world and the world goes into its judgement and own destruction. No human is the devil, and hades and death are destroyed as Christ defeated on the Cross.

To be over done in following all of the OT laws would be nuts As you say it cant be done... ... but which of the 10 do we wish to ignore? we dont
To not follow any laws ( requests.. commandments what ever we wish to call them) would be just as nuts as trying to follow all of 'em.

There is balance .. Jesus gave us a couple very open commands not in the phrase of Thou shall not but in love

Joh 15:17 These things I command you, that ye love one another.

Mat 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Mat 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Matt is repeated in mark and luke
Again with the balance
there is repentance .. if there is ZERO sin what do we need to repent of?

kiwidan in 70 years i have seen a few things one of them being folks who fall , thinking there is no sin only grace .. and one who went the way of thinking everything was sin and failed at keeping the laws he thought would make him righteous ..

He triumphed over the Law and the principalities behind it to wash away the worlds sin. So The Most High and Christ cannot judge mankind for there sin.

Christ has Indonesia the curse so not even he can judge because there is no sin.

Mankind needed to learn somehow. Its was all Gods plan.

Even Paul said he was only alive without the Law, and he was spreading a message of Christ crucified and say live in love and peace. It doesn't mean go and do wrong because mankind knows what's right and wrong.

Christ paid for sins not washed them away. Sins are paid for and forgotten by those who are in Christ. Do you know everyone is in Christ? If they are in Christ do they love God?

why would someone who loves God want to kill? Why would they want to lie?

He fulfilled the law for all in Him. You come to Him, He takes care of it. You stay away, He won't force you.

The very fact sin is still around proves to yourself that there is still a law. Just the same as since there is a creation, there must be a creator.

I re read it to confirm, the scripture says 'behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world'.

It doesn't say 'behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of only a very few elect few people why the rest burn for eternity in a lake of fire'

Also,

"He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world."

It doesn't say 'he is the atoning sacrifice only for our sins because we believe and not the whole worlds they can burn in a lake of fire forever'

There sinful but God doesn't see the Sin because Christ took away the worlds Sin. So everytime someone sins its as if they never did Sin. People are still crooked and do wicked stuff because the devil likes to corrupt man, but the devil has already been defeated.
