Soooo . . . what are you trying to say in response to my post? Please forgive me, but I am unable to connect your reply to my post that you replied to.I think that the problem with these "miracles" is this. If anybody was performing true live miracles, the entire world, and I mean the entire world would be flocking toward these miracles. Deep down, the majority of people know that it is all a put-on.
The worst part about it all, is when people on these forums try to defend the possibility that these miracles could actually be taking place, but they don't make any urgent moves to travel toward these miracles. This is simply cognitive dissonance at its best.
Colossians 1:15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.
Meaning that, there were always two eyes watching Jesus heal..one with faith and one that is wondering why he is even "healing on sabbath" in the first place. John 5:9-11 And at once the man was healed, and he took up his bed and walked. Now that day was the Sabbath. 10 So the Jews said to the man who had been healed, “It is the Sabbath, and it is not lawful for you to take up your bed.” 11 But he answered them, “The man who healed me, that man said to me, ‘Take up your bed, and walk.
The power we see to heal comes through faith in our hearts. If you lack faith, you will think everything is a hoax and a fake. God's goodness vs Man's goodness. For example, the man that questioned the crippled man's healing cannot feel the healing that the crippled man felt. Only the crippled man knows what really happened..thus the invisible God. If I told you my testimony about Jesus Christ, would that change you and convince you to take up your cross..or would you think I'm crazy and start cracking bart simpson jokes. I hope I explain that well, haha. It takes a wise man to see the goodness and healing of God.
