smiling_grin,
While refuting Mormonism in Salt Lake City I found several things I really needed to learn. The most important was to give something in return. For the most part members of the LDS church don't really react well to such things as that site provides. No surprise there. It's not so much pointing out the "wrongs" as it is pointing out what the LDS Church doesn't offer, a personal relationship with our Lord and Savior and the knowledge that one is saved right here, right now without first being judged by someone else here on earth or in the hereafter.
There's a sad reality in that many who come out of Mormonism don't even want to hear anything else concerning ANY religion. Remember, they finally realized they'd been taken and are not apt to embrace another any time soon, if ever.
It's easier to fill a bucket that's already empty than first having to dispense with what's in a full one. And emptying that bucket is a rather painful experience, not for you but for the bucket. It may take a long time for the wounds to heal, if they ever do.
And to reiterate: The Mormon in good standing has a very good chance of losing friends, family and even a job by turning from Mormonism. I found it's as much a culture as it is a religion. I've known many who have raised kids and been blessed with grandchildren that have never ventured out of Utah let alone been exposed to other ideas and beliefs.
Again, when witnessing to a Mormon show them what you have that they don't.
