Yes, unbeknown to many it's already very popular software.
It just hasn't grabbed a big part of the home pc browser market.
To me it just seems cleaner and more light weight. But still gets the job done. I like how when you start typing in a web address the choices appear right in the address window. You don't have to scroll down to the one you want like in FF. For instance, I just start typing 'chr' in Opera and immediately 'christianforums.net appears and I just have to hit 'enter'. In Firefox I have to purposely move to that search result and click. Sometimes I miss, lol.
May seem petty, but my overall impression of Opera is it's ease of use. Apparently there are many neat features I haven't taken the time to explore.
Ad-Block Plus should come standard on Firefox and any other browser! When I get on a new rig, the first thing I do is add Firefox. The second thing I do is download Ad-Block Plus! Being ad-free on the internet... It's a beautiful thing! :yes
I'm trying out NoScript. After allowing certain scripts to run on the sites I visit most by option I'm beginning to like it. It's a discipline though. Takes a little getting used to.
I have 11 other addons including Adblock Plus.
You can't really get rid of IE altogether when running Windows. I've tried. It's still on my computer though....

Hands down Mozilla Fire fox for sure as I do not get all those send error reports from IE. The only thing is I can't get adobe flashplayer to download because the newer version is not compatible with 64 bit and for some reason the older versions will not come up when I try to access them.
If your only options are IE or Firefox, I would back you on the Fox all the way. However, I would like to stress how light and smooth navigation on Google Chrome is, which is my recommendation.
