He is a very good Seminary Professor.
He has taught regular college as well. He has even started a Seminary in Russia.

He is fully accredited and licensed. You can do a lot worse in a Seminary you pay to attend than in his classes here. He has demonstrated his ability to teach many times on this forum. His answers are always very concise and in proper grammar. (He has taught English as well)

Read the man's CV...he has demonstrated that he owns every bit of it...(and likely more)

the darkside is a reference to officer corps, its a jab at him over being an officer. I was enlisted, I worked while those like him planned, I was paid to carryout his plans and make them work.

i will watch see what where these classes go to seminary is good but many times i indoctrinate with specific beliefs. i wouldn't mind a good bible history class

The idea is to have structured classes for the purpose of learning.
I am trying to get teachers with different backgrounds teaching different areas of the Bible and hopefully it all comes together!

if God is in it . it will work i am % 100 for good bible education .the thing that worries me ( not this set up } every denomination has its own teaching and any thing out side that circle is rejected osas osnas pre trib mid trib how often do we need to be baptized etc. i am ordained through the general baptist they will reject the southern baptist plan of salvation . many of the baptist reject Pentecostals.it grows on and on . your idea or who ever come up with this. will work if sticking withe core values of the Bible . some will reject the gifts of the spirit in operation today .i am all for this but will take a watch ad see approach . hope it flies

Anyone looking for a litmus test to fail a Christian group will find it...there are those who fail Billy Graham over his sins and miss the anointing he had.
But if you are looking for the good things...you will most certainly find it.

i am not looking for a litmus test .. i been through them they fail miserably i never just run out into a body of water. with out knowing the depths ahead. i have had some good discussions in here and i also have been told where i am wrong. call me part skeptic the half in hopes it will take off and fly. i like to observe stopped jumping on the band wagon years ago . if it is going be a problem then i will gracefully move on,

I understand. We're a pretty good comunity and unity is not uniformity. In part, that means we understand where our brother is, and embrace them as ourr brother in in our theological differences. I'm not really aware of anyone who changed the mind of another by arguing.

If a teacher is teaching something another member disagrees with, I expect them to show respect for pur teachers and take it to PM. One wouldn't last long arguing with a teacher in college, and it wont last long here.

But that's why I said I think we have a pretty good community. We are diverse, but through the Holy Spirit, I believe were finding our way.

I've been in prayer for unity for years. God brought me back for a purpose and I'm trying to be led by His voice. So please, keep me and the staff in your prayers, and keep our members in your prayers also. Satan wants to divide us, but together with Christ, I believe we can show the world our love for one another, and by doing so they will see the love God has for us. And they will want to be a part of it.

our theological differences

should be easy to deal with due to the simple fact a true teacher will teach Bible not church doctrine . i know a AOG pastor in texas use come mo preach in gen baptist Church . other than him talking about his church .you would not know he was AOG .this is how i believe yes there will be few indifference's. but it should be no major thing.. paul said to the jews i became a jew . a true teacher will leave personal doctrine out

This is a logistical question. But how many can attend these classes? Either to read them, or to comment in them? I know class size might change how hard it is on a teacher. But hopeful the classes are open for anyone to see, (even if there is a restriction to comment and take part in the sessions)..

We will allow as many students to enroll as the Professor can handle. Obviously some professors will be able to handle a larger class size than others. Time is always a factor against us.

Assignments need to be turned in on time as the instructor deems necessary and comment/questions also need to be to be timely as well because lessons will not be closed they will be dependant. And publicly asking a question 5 lessons back is going to be really disruptive... privately you might be able to sweet talk the professor into assistance... again time being the enemy of us all. (He may be under time constraints as well... lesson plans, homework and tests to grade. )

We are all volunteering our time together for the benefit of others who earnestly wish to know more so they in turn can share more.

I hope this works out well JohnDB. I think there will be enough interest to take part in the classes. Expecially because it's a free service. A lot of people would love to learn more from those who've studied a subject, but can't make time or afford the classes. If this works out this'll be a good thing you guys are offering to the community as a whole.
