The church does not require the New Testament scriptures to know the truth!

The church wrote the scripture!

The church was taught by Christ in person for three years!

For 30 plus years before the apostles wrote scripture
By the inspiration of the Holy Ghost they taught and preached and settle matters of doctrine!

The church He founded is also the pillar of truth as an extension and command of Christ! 1 tim 3:15

The sects of errors are the darkness of Thick black scales of fundamentalism!

All the tradition of men!





Sacred scripture teaches that many of the same things apply to the apostolic church as it does Christ!

Hear: Matt 17:5 acts 3:22 / Matt 18:17
Authority: Matt 28:17 / Jn 20:21
Reconciliation: 2 cor 5:19 / 2 cor 5:18
Forgive sins: Lk 5:20 / Jn 20:23

Truth: Jn 14:6 / 1 Tim 3:15

Jesus Christ and His church are one acts 9:4 eph 5:32 and the only means of salvation! Matt 28:19

Jesus Christ extends his mission, power, and authority to His church of His apostles! The apostles have the same mission, ministry, power, and authority as Christ! Jn 20:21 as the father sent me, so I send you!

Even His judging!

His teaching authority!

His power to forgive sins!

Jesus Christ founded the new covenant church for the salvation of all men! (Jn 1:16-17) Christ is the truth! (Jn 14:6) Christ and his church are one!

(1 Tim 3:15) that must teach all men (Matt 28:19) without error guided by the Holy Spirit
(Jn 16:13) Thru the grace of God in the sanctification of souls applied in the seven sacraments!

Colossians 2:8 See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the tradition of men, according to the elementary principles of the world, and not according to Christ.

Not a “tradition of men” thats what heretics teach “five solas” etc.

But a divine tradition (teaching) from Christ to His apostles in person, which He commanded them to teach that becomes an apostolic tradition! Matt 28:19Acts 1:8 Acts 2:42

Same power and authority as Christ Jn 20:21-23

Catholics teach "extra-biblical" traditions of man.

God always sends men to teach!

Isa 53:1 Who hath believed our report?

Isaiah 6:8
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?

God always established peace and order in His kingdom by obedience to the fathers in hierarchical jurisdiction! Matt 28:17-20

Why should believe a sinful man like Philip?
