All nations here clearly mean people of all nations / all mankind , Christian and others. Everyone has to face judgment before getting saved / condemnedThis is the judgment of the NATIONS. In the Bible, the nations are those who are outside of the people of God. Notice that those of the "nations" who are saved are those who did good to "the least" of Christ's followers. Because Christians have Christ within through the Holy Spirit, whatever someone outside the Christian community does to someone within it is actually acting toward Christ through that Christian person. Those of the nations who are saved are not saved because they were kind and loving, but because they were kind and loving toward CHRIST (as manifested in his followers). A good example of this is a group of moderate Indonesian Moslems who heard of a plan by radical Moslems to attack a Christian community. The moderates warned the Christians and saved their lives, however the moderates themselves were caught by the radicals and crucified outside the mosque. I believe that these moderates were saved by their action because what they did for the Christians was seen by God as being done for Christ.
He repeats it in Revelation 22:12 ►
“Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done."
To say this is only for non Christian and who helped Christians is mentioned NOWHERE in the passage ( Matthew 25:31-46)
And what you're suggesting is therefore tantamount to SPECULATION. No court will accept this explanation that you provided.
However I'd like to point out two phenomena in play here and it's very common among Paul loving Christians
1) if the only tool you have is a hammer:-
If the only tool you have is a hammer, you tend to see every problem as a nail.” This is a famous quote by Abraham Maslow which refers to a concept commonly known as the 'law of instrument' or Maslow's Hammer. It refers to an over-reliance on a familiar or favourite tool.
In this case the Hammer is Pauline doctrine of Saved by Grace alone through Faith Alone
Unfortunately due to this preconceived notion and absolute conviction this is the real doctrine, the entire doctrine of Christ got buried under this deception. The average Christian moving with his " Hammer" started rationalizing everything non-Paul writers wrote ( including Christ ) . They twisted and hammered everything others said to FIT within Paul doctrine
2) Sherlock Holmes quote :
Read this peculiar phenomena playing out in our Churches which lead to Pauline doctrine getting a wide acceptance
Sherlock Holmes ( Arthur Conan Doyle) says
"It is a capital mistake to theorize before one has data. Insensibly one begins to twist facts to suit theories, instead of theories to suit facts.”
This is exactly what happened Dafy. We started twisting facts to suit the doctrine of Paul. The best teachers also. Therefore even though Jesus never taught or uttered the Word Grace, the Salvation doctrine that Churches taught for last 500 years is "Saved by Grace alone through Faith Alone...."
