Myvatn (Midge Lake), north Iceland. The craters in the foreground have never erupted. They are pseudocraters, AKA rootless cones, that were formed by steam explosions when the lava flowed over the water.

I took this picture when I went to Gibraltar last spring. I didn't notice a sign, but I think this is a one-way street.
